Production: Production was handled by K.C., Big Hollis and Dj Shareil. K.G. and Dj Shareil did their thang! They gave X-Raided Loc' songs that Up-To-Date Slaps! Big Hollis in "my" thoughts was slippin' on this album and didn't give X-Raided the same quality production that he gave Bad Azz on the "Personal Business" album or anything that he was pitching to Snoop Dogg.

Lyrics: Brothaz I'm telling you X-Raided Spits! X-Raided gotz lyrics! X-Raided is busting better and his lyrics are better then any artist on a Major Label right now! T-Nutty was a fool with his feature and his rapid fire delivery is so Murderous.

Concept: X-Raided tells his story from the streets to the pen, and he even spits game about the way the industry is run (The latter is my favorite subject to hear him spit about). We need more THOROUGH projects like this in the rap genre.

Overall: This is an EXCELLENT project, the production is on point minus the Big Hollis tracks. This album dropped in 2001 and I was just able to find a copy (Thank You Saeed at Rasputins in Berkeley), can you believe how bad Bayside Distribution dropped the ball on this album? I have had some many X-Raided fans tell me that they wanted this Cd but that they could never find it when it came out. That is just Heart Breaking for X-Raided.

First Degree The D.E. "Look Me In My Face, Though!"

Production: Production was handled by First Degree, Phonk Beta, Poor Man Dre and Marky Mark. The production is different. It sounds a "tiny" bit like the production that Brotha Lynch Hung has been rapping over lately. I ain't gonna lie, it isn't a production style that most cats are gonna be into. They are gonna want more bass and conventional beat patterns.

Lyrics: First Degree isn't rapping about what other rappers from Sacramento (C-Bo, X-Raided or Luni Coleone) are talking about. But he has lyrics and says some pretty deep things.

Concept: Myself and Pola Bear have been fans of First Degree since "Planet Zero". We used to go out promoting our projects slapping that album all day. His concepts have always bee way out there. Most of his albums follow a theme, but this one didn't. It is just First Degree busting and doing that One-Of-A-Kind unique singing. Yeah ya' boy sings.

Overall: First Degree has a strong fan base and he is gonna sell cd's to those fans that are as unique as him. Ya' know how him and Andre Nickatina sell to those Skate Board Kids. I do want to mention that First Degree remakes his homie Brotha Lynch Hungs "Dead Man Walking" and that is where First Degree really shines!
