When I was in Vancouver, my compadres were all "hurry up! All you can eat is almost finished!" All you can eat it the last thing my fat ass needs. :)
I can't do the 6 small meal thing; it just isn't practical given the amount of running around and the wayward schedule I have. What I do is:

breakfast: half bowl of Fibre One (plenty of fibre cereals claim to be healthy, but this is the only one with no suger) and a boiled egg.

lunch: luncheon meat sandwich and a fruit.

dinner: chicken or fish and some rice, and either veggies or a big ass salad with cucumbers, carrots, peppers and lettuce. I have to toss a little satay or thai sauce on the meat to make it half assed palatable, as I wasn't blessed with Lillerant's bland taste buds. Dessert is usually a little plain yogurt or a fruit.

And that's it. If I'm dying for a snack, I have a fruit, and I drink water like a bastard. It does make you piss a lot, which is the only downside. I also walk for an hour every night; which is simple, doable in almost any weather (provided you're bundled up enough in the winter), costs nothing and tends to piss people off (an added bonus. :) )

Now, it's taken me about 3 to 4 months to lose the 15-20 pounds, but I'll take this easy to maintain diet any day over that Atkins tomfoolery.
