I think MS03-039 is the (second attempt to) patch against the Blaster worm. Or, rather, the Blaster worm exploits the MS03-039 vulnerability.

There is only one thing in the world worse than patching against a virus that first came out nine months ago, and that is, /not/ patching against a virus that first came out nine months ago.
