No! Sasser uses the MS04-011 hole from April 13th, not the MS03-039 one. http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/sasser.asp has the stuff. Get the right patch.

It was still stupid, given a live exploit virus making real-world global headlines. But presumably a journalist brought the virus into the show?
