Well This is my first visit to Paranoid Times. Personally I don't think there any conspiracies. I mean how can anyone link out glorious prime minister to any significant scandle. Our Tony is just doing his job. Just trying to make the best of a big pile of dung left over from the previous party. The fact that Tonies party is farther to the right than the iron maiden is neither here nor there.

After reading your comments about terrorist activity and extreme weather conditions, it brought to mind the parallels that have been suggested between earthguakes and shuttle launches!
I'm not too sure that I agree entirely with the belief that terrorism is on the increase though, as equally devastating and horrific events have occured throughout time and it is only now that the mass media is able to 'show the world'. The 'civilised' world has laid itself open to knowledge or suspicion that terrorists are among us all, and those with any clout in the media have the wherewithall to show us whatever they want, whenever they want, and create the desired effects of shock, hatred and disgust. I fear acts of retaliation will further shield the true identities of those ultimately responsible for such abominations and cannot help but wonder how it can possibly end. Perhaps the sad truth is that somebody somewhere simply does NOT want peace on this earth, and I can only hope that the continual 'shock' treatment doesn't harden the hearts of too many otherwise decent people.

Has Al Qaeda found a way to influence or control the weather? Hurricane after hurricane is striking the US. Al Qaeda was involved in the school hostage situation in Russia and now hundred of thousands of Floridians are located in public schools being used as shelters. Will Hurricane IVAN be the situation where Al Qaeda uses the situation as a hostage situation in public schools?

Al Arabiya's editor says Muslims are the cause of terrorism, he will probably be dead soon.

What has anyone to say about the introduction of the new ID cards in Scotland? Who is volunteering before they become compulsory? Iris scan? Finger prints? Is there a DNA test included in that and can I have mine to match my lippie? In fact, why not just take us all to the vets and implant the chip under our skin? Oh yeah! I believe that's one of the conspiracies too! Maybe we should invite the Bildebergers on here?!

Who's paranoid. Der is no reason for anyone to be paranoide thees days man. I mean look at what we got goin fo us tis day. We got welfare. We got Health service, we got government who looking to give us identity cards, satalite tags and lie detector test. (For criminals they say.)

We also go pole ice carying around enough armour that day cant run after a criminal no more. Day got fancy battons, Day got pepper spray, day got handcuffs, and day got dem fancy padded vests. Dem all look good but they no run fast anymore. Now they bring back the bi-cycle to chase criminals. Good for cat-chin them in towns. Even work on M1.

We even payin that nice man Brown extra for the petrol to put in wheels mhan. Mr Brown he say "you go out and work hard we cut tax" What he ment was "You go out and work. We will let you keep 8 pence in the pound."
