The annual Benefits Enrollment for the year 2010 is from Oct. 1, 2009 through midnight Central time, Oct. 31, 2009. There are a lot of changes so please read the "Life Matters" Enrollment issue that came in the mail or go online to Jetnet, Benefits and read about all the changes. I will highlight a few that are important to remember when choosing your benefits for 2010.

Before You Enroll:

- Review/update your personal information, phone number, address, alternate address if you have one, beneficiaries and emergency contact
- View the 2010 Benefits Changes
--View map to find your Preferred Network Provider by the state you live and options (if you have an alternate address, this is the state that will considered as your Preferred Network Provider
-View other Options available to you on Jetnet Benefits page, ie., Hyatt Legal Services

Highlights of 2010 Changes:

- New Preferred Network Administrators for Arizona, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Vermont
- Increase in monthly contribution rates for those who PAY for medical coverage
- Filing Deadline changes for Medical, Supp. Medical and Dental Claims:for 2010: Must receive claims within ONE year of service or the clam will not be paid.
- Increase in Supp. Medical contributions, 2010, $15/month and adds a $250 deductible
- Specialty Medications must be filled by Medco

After reviewing all the changes and making any updates to your personal info., click on "Enroll" and follow the prompts. MAKE A COPY OF YOUR ELECTION FOR YOUR FILES!

Retirees under age 65, additional information

- Tricare Supp. Medical (Military) Discontinued for 2010. Options available for other medical coverage-

IMPORTANT: THE RETIREE STANDARD MEDICAL PLAN (RSMP PPO) IS THE ONLY PLAN THAT AA RECOGNIZES AS THE ONE YOU PRE-FUNDED AND IT IS AT NO COST - FREE! IF YOU ELECT TO CHANGE TO THE RETIREE POINT OF SERVICE PLAN (RPOS) YOU MUST PAY FOR THIS PLAN AND THERE IS NO CHANGING BACK IN THE FUTURE TO THE RSMP- PPO WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT!

Retirees 65 and older and on Medicare

- Your Secondary Healthcare Administrator will continue to be UHC and Medicare is your Primary. No need to enroll in benefits but it is advisable to check/edit your personal information online at Jetnet Benefits: name, address, alternate address, phone number, emergency contact, beneficiaries and make a copy for your records
- New Dental options available with Metlife if you elected AA Dental coverage at retirement
- AA Supp Medical (Health First) contributions increase in 2010 to $180/per person per year with $250 deductible added
- Deadline for submitting Medical, Supp. Medical and Dental claims is ONE year from the date of service effective 1/1/2010 or your claim will not be paid.

If you have questions regarding Benefits Enrollment, you can chat online with an HR Services representative or send a secure email with your questions. Select "HR Assistant" located on he Benefits page of Jetnet.

Hope this helps.
