Interesting... Mick Head - the head Shacker - and his bandmate and brother John have toured with Arthur Lee. They both have an AL obsession that shows all the way back in their early 80s albums when they were in The Pale Fountains, another great lost band.

You amuse me.

I just read a review that said, "This is a quiet, intelligent album, full of hushed atmospherics and reminiscent of artists such as Nick Drake and Arthur Lee. Not the sort of thing that sets the charts on fire, but those in the know are in for a treat."

Damn if that isn't a fine pedigree. I love Arthur Lee (That's a pun, in a way, since his band was Love. I amuse myself. If not me, who else would I amuse?)

Mmm. Importy. Once my weird 60s Brazillian pop album with a Portugese version of "Don't Worry Baby" arrives I will need to scrape together the funds to get this.
