I'm still not quite sure what differentiates a "photograph" from an "art wrok" [sic]. Photos are art works. But not all artworks are photos. And not even all photos are art. They are artificial (ie, do not grow on trees). But, consider the snapshot.... Now, what I throw into snapshots is photo-based, and continues to lie primarily in the photo-image field. An artwork can be photo-based, but will (probably) veer off in other directions, where the original image alone is not the most important element. Still, can't say that the concepts have gelled for me, can I? Edited 04-01-2004 10:25 AM
