Litigation Woes is a law and professional networking forum dedicated to uniting a unique group of unsung heroes and heroines who went beyond the call of duty. These individuals exercised bravery, perserverance, and honesty, in their relentless pursuits to ensure justice will prevail when white collar crimes occur in all business environments: public, private and federal entities. Unfortunately, these harsh lessons are being learned scandal after scandal, and lawsuit after lawsuit. The truth is our nation's most deadliest weapons are private and public corporate CEOs, their officers and agents who were once deemed by the American people, our commuinty leaders, socilites, the rich, the poor, the young, and the old, and so forth, as respectable and trustworthy businessmen and women. From the naked eye, the American people, our labor force and the bread and butter of the yesterday's and today's economy, made significant contributions to the designs and developments of sophisticated infrastructures, soaring skyscrapers, robust technologies, high-tech communication gadgets, advanced medical research, and extraordinary scientific hypothesis. Life was good. It was the "American Dream." The American dollar flourished into commodities of deep corporate pockets. Money was being made, ideas were being exchanged and laws were being legislated. The nation prospered. Life again was good, until landmark corporations stealthly transformed into greed and corporate incentive schemes.
Litigation Woes echos the trials and tribulations of real-life tumultuous civil disputes between private and public corporations. Careers were destroyed, families fell apart, and dreams perished. These individuals are men and women of all different ages and walks of life. Typically, they are known as Whistleblowers, and sadly, some of them didn't even know it. On another spectrum, a minority of these heroes and heroines are free-spirited, college grads new to the workforce who never had the chance to reach their professional goals, prosper in their lives, and turn dreams into reality.
Litigation Woes invites men and women who were or are currently in the litigation process. This includes, Litigants, those who survived civil litigation and brought down corporate monsters, as well as Lawyers, and new Plaintiffs who have many questions about the fate of their careers and future.
What's civil litigation like during and after? Is it true, they are forced into early retirement and will work for a corporation again? After everything is lost, is there really a life? What happens to Litigants after a long civil battle? Justice is served, so what's next? Are their prou names and reputations still blemished? Do they acquire new names, social security numbers and identities? Where are they today? Does a bright future still exist? Other than writing checks for millions of dollars, what happens to the corporate foes? Did they really learn a lesson? Is justice really served?
These are only some of the few topics that are addressed in Litigation Woes. With a strong triad of litigants, dedicated lawyers, judges and those parties who've witnessed "Enron" and "Silkwood" in real life, your advice, wisdom and perserverance through personal accounts of non-fiction civil battles will motivate, inspire and instill hope for employee martyrs who await their destiny in the court of law.
