Morning all,

Got eaten alive last night while trying to plant up some spuds, there seems to be something about me that the mighty midge find .........well.................very edible.

Yes Jill there is an RFA forum but it's not available to everyone in the members area. Bit strange that for me as I like to stick my nose into things to find out what's happening and if there are any problems rumbling. Still, I only work for the Company after all, why would they want to make my job any easier.

Nat, I think Cidny is suffering with the heat, says she's looking in but not writing much at the mo.

Very warm again up here today, had to change my shirt before I set off for work.................. did I say .work.......

Hi

Welcome to Jill. I am a Mum to a 20 (soon to be 21) year old in the RN. He has been in for almost 4 years and is due to join one of the new Destroyers shortly.

Well Hubby and son Jack got back from Glastonbury on Monday afternoon. They had a whale of a time. Jack bought himself a Eukalaely (hope that's right) and is really good. He is having Guitar lessons, so that helps my ears lol! Unfortunately, their clothes are full of mud and whatever and have since walked themselves over to the washing machine!! Jack (11) is famous, he is pictured in the crowd, watching the Specials, with a painted Skeleton face. Scary! Did post a link on FB for anyone interested, around 21 minutes in to the performance. He was impressed when a lady asked him for his autograph lol!
Watched the Armed Forces Day Parade and Carnival in our Town on Saturday. It was ok, but did think there would have been more of a Forces prescence. There were mainly Cadets, apart from the Air Force and hardly any Army personnel. Such a shame, as there were quite a lot of people watching.

Ricardo
Hope things get sorted for Christina. I can understand Lynne getting upset. It must be very hard for her. Give her my love.

Cindy
WHERE ARE YOU??? GET YOUR BUTT INTO GEAR AND START POSTING! WE ARE NOT IMPRESSED!!!! You know you are being missed. x

Big Hi to everyone.

Oh, forgot to say Lorraine, my Mum and little Bro are touring Northern Ireland, first stop Limerick, as from yesterday. Apparently arrived in Dublin to glorious sunshine. Unlike here last night. Huge thunderstorm and two houses within a three mile radius were struck by a thunderbolt and set on fire. Scary! Fortunately, no casualties.

Hi

Sorry Sheila, probably missed you by now, but hope you have a good time. Are you having a go at Wing-walking lol!

Hope everything goes well for baby Mia. Very worrying time for her parents. My nephew had a hole in the heart when he was a baby, he is now a strapping 15 year old!
Cindy, Sad to hear about your friends Dad. I lost my Aunt (Mums Sister-in-Law) to Leukeamia last Friday night and will be attending her funeral on Monday. Not looking forward to that!
You could always wear a bowl on your head to the Hairdressers and say 'Don't go past this line'!

Well, just about to go out and the heavens have opened, so quick change into my wetsuit, mask, snorkel and flippers!
Hope everyone has a good day.
Bye for now
