It got cancelled 30 min. before showtime
:( something about electrical..
Its prob. for the best, what with the rain.. but it turned into drizzel about 30 min of what would have been the concert.. who knows.. maybe if it wasnt cancelled.. someone might have slipped from the rain.God forbid!
Yeah Im bummed.. I REALLY wanted to see the guys again!! 2 hr. drive up there.. hung out for about 30 min. that walked over to the amphitheater and people were walking back.. so of course we had to go see for ourselves.. and yep.... it was cancelled due to electrical something or another...
soo went back into the casino, stood in line for about 45 min to get the cheapest food there. ate. went into the lounge nearby.. waited for about 20 min or so for a waitress to come by.. no one did .. so we said.. to He## with waiting for a waitress.. walked all the way back to the far end of the parking lot where the show was gonna be.. got in.. and drove 2 hours back...
oh well... guess not this time.. wonder when they're gonna come back this way.. maybe it'll be at emerald queen casino.. which is MUCH closer.. Ojays, Smokey, Al Green.. etc...they all schedule themselves there.
Just thought I'd put the news over here instead of at the concert reviews...
I even signed up to take tomorrow off work, cuz I know how I feel after a Tempts concert.. and I know I wouldnt have been able to concentrate on work... but.. maybe I'll go in late to work and surprise them.
Maybe it was for the best.. Maybe next time. Ive waited 2 1/2 years.. I can wait longer.. gonna hate waiting till they get out here again... hahah.. but I'll get to see them again..
