Good news to anyone watching. The artwork is in, with any luck and a good wind a final version will be out by the end of April.

Hi Jmac,
Glad you've enjoyed the game, thanks for the comments.
The IIEE stuff is not really made clear in the playtest rules, the current version I'm working on clears stuff up (hopefully) and may even get released soon. The intended ruling on Oog victory is who has the highest Oog obtained by any single Ork.
If you do write up some adventures I'd be interested in hosting them on my site.
Cheers,
Jack.

Hi!
I've run the game several times for my friends. We had stable laughter and enough fun. Those who never played RPGs before were much more comfortable and started doing right thigs just as the game started, "roleplayers" took their time to adjust. Generally, I like the game very much :)
Once we had no d10's - I've made a recalculation for d6. Slightly worse, but well enough, I guess. Once we played with no dice at all - human-based random number generator was a little tiresome, but game worked nevertheless :)
We had a little problems with declarations and executions of actions (IIEE I guess) - these were solved by "gods decide everything" and jokes. Must be just my awkward GMing, I'm really not sure.
We were calculating the overall score - total Oog divided by total number of orcs - to decide who is really the Oogest one.
Now I'm considering thinking up a pack of adventures - I didn't manage to do it on the fly and I've twisted the example one enough times and ways, I guess :)

Okay, so the game never happened last October, due to confilcts. But now I'm getting ready to try it next week. Is there really a module I could try out? One we could playtest?

A friend of mine in New York City said his gaming group played this game for a night, and absolutely loved it, couldn't stop laughing.
I've downloaded and read it, and now I'm getting ready to inflict it on my own group in Chicago. With a bunch of evil minds, this looks like it will be a total blast!

I have to say, this was a very fun break from our normal D&D game. I put on my old warcraft 2 music CD, plop down about an inch thick of character sheets, then just start grinning at the players.
In retrospect, I should have assumed they would just smash everything in sight instead of falling for my insidious traps.
It was quickly discovered that all orks are in fact proficient with goblin-fu. The players (with rare exceptions, including the one below) were making attacks, almost exclusively with goblins as weapons.
Also, I was highly tempted to make up an 8th god (Luvins and Duvins) because of the unsavory actions one of my orks was inflicting upon the townsfolk (The player in question was female if you'd believe it!)
As for improvements, the inevitable PvP that resulted could have worked more smoothly. Maybe not giving spite to the controller of "Slashings and Slayings" if their ork is the one being attacked.
Finally, my players found it extremely difficult to come up with valid TWGtG uses for goblins after they had lost a S&S roll.
All in all, I managed to rack up 17 player deaths, not too shabby.
