Jo-Ann: Thank you so much for your posting on Bill's web site. First of all - Happy Mother's Day to all the Weiby mothers. We know that Bill cherished his relationship with your Mom and Dad and all you girls. He was forever talking about you. I can remember visiting him one weekend in FL and he insisted in the middle of the night that we visit Margate Hospital. After moving to RI in '79 Bill visited us several times including once when he was traveling on to Duxbury, MA to meet up with your Mom and her family at a reunion. Even though over 31 years have passed without a clue as to what happened to Bill, I believe both our mothers finally know. The years of anguish that both went through were awful, and I am glad they are at peace although those of us left behind continue to struggle daily with his loss. We also have Bill on Face Book and a blog. Thank you, again and Good Night. Lon Edited 05-14-2012 10:34 AM

Dear Jamsion family,
My Mother Shirley weiby worked with Bill at the old Maragte hospital. He became a family friend. I remember Bill as a genuine and generous person. He was always thoughtful to all of us. He hasd a great laugh. When he went missing i had just hasd a new baby in December. My Mother ,my sister Susan and I would go and park by the main road leading to Margate Hospital to see if he would return there. At the time I remember my om called and that was the thinking at the tine. One of his brothers came down here and joined in the search. What I remember is there was someone in Margate who looked similar to Bill and he had been spotted around town. My daughter is 31 now and will be having her fifth daughter in June. When her sister and the baby were asleep we would head out to look for the car. And as you know we did not find hoim. When I graduated from nursing school Bill gave me a beautiful statue of a bird riding on a wave. I kept in on the same table for years. One day my Mother was over visiting and that bird fell more like flew off the shelf and fell to the floor. Never dod figure how it happened. Bill also came to my wedding thirty five years ago. Flew back to Florida to attend. It meant so much to all of us.

MISSING IN AMERICA WILLIAM J. JAMISON MISSING SINCE MAR. 26-27, 1981
Today, March 27, 2012 marks the 31st anniversary of our brother, Bills, disappearance from the Roselle Park, Kenilworth, and Linden, New Jersey area near the cities of Elizabeth and Newark. 31 years ago there was no indication of what happened to Bill or the company car, which he drove. Today 31 years later - there is still no information as to his whereabouts or that of his car. We are asking all of you to help us in our quest to find Bill. Information and photos are on his web site: www.williamjamison.com; his Facebook page: William J. Jamison; and his blog: www.williamjamison.blogspot.com. We ask each of you to share this information with your friends, acquaintances, relatives, etc. and ask them to share it also. Bill was 34 when he disappeared, and would turn 65 on his next birthday for almost half of his life (if he is alive), he has been among THE MISSING IN AMERICA. It is staggering how many people are missing in this country. It is even more staggering that Law Enforcement does little to help. Just look back at the Jaycee Duggard and Elizabeth Smart cases. Law Enforcement is content to wait for a DNA match if it ever happens. We have been told recently by the agency having jurisdiction The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit that if we uncover any information to let them know. So we feel not only is Bills case a Cold Case, not only is it Frigid, it has been Abandoned by those charged to look for Missing Persons yes, they are overwhelmed and have no leads; yet, they refuse to meet with his family; to meet with a forensic psychologist retained by the family, who was part of the team responsible for the capture of the infamous NJ mass murderer, John List; to divulge records in Bills case because allegedly this is an Active Investigation; nor do they communicate with Bills family on a regular basis; and they consistently refuse our offers to help them in research of files, etc. YOUR HELP IS REALLY NEEDED BECAUSE WE ARE ON OUR OWN. Any questions can be directed to Lon Jamison at lonjamison@verizon.net or at 401-295-4416
Thank you.
The Jamison Family
