The website keeps me posted when people write on it.... thanks for remembering Uncle Bill, and keeping him real for us.

Happy Birthday, Bill - it's been a long time, and there is a large family hoping you will return to us some day, safely. Love, Lonnie

Today marks 29 years since we last saw you or spoke with you. We would welcome help from any source to find out what happened to you, Bill, including a call from you. Love, Lonnie

Bill: Merry Christmas 2009. Although for our family this is the saddest Chrismas we have experienced.
If you are reading this, then you can tell that we lost our brother, Jerry, this past October. Death brings with it a sure and certain finality as well as inestimable grief and an overwhelming sense of loss for all his family and friends, but, most especially, his wife, children, and grand daughter. Time, friends, family, and faith help to mute these feelings, and in the process we all learn to cope.
In your case, a disappearence - closing in on 29 years with no contact, and no real information - brings with it the same sense of loss; but there is that lack of finality; there is no conclusion; we are left to wonder and mostly unable to come to a way to deal with your loss. That loss, therefore, is not muted by time; it is still fresh and constant. The 'unknowing' is an awful thing to go through; as it is for many, many families. May God help us all to find solace and peace, especially at this time of the year.
May God take care of you wherever you are. Love, Lonnie

Lizanne: It has taken me a while but at last I want to thank you from all of us for your very kind words, thoughts and prayers for and about Jerry, and your memories of him and all his family. We are all most appreciative.
If you ever need to contact me directly - just e-mail lonjamison@cox.net.
I loved the story about the payment from our Dad - he sure liked his Chesterfields. With the price of cigarettes now, think what he'd have to pay you today!!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Best wishes to you and all your family throughout the New Year. Lonnie

Lon, I don't have any other way of talking with your family this week and really need to - I am so sad about Jerry and I pray that you are all doing okay. Losing him now must be so hard. It doesn't seem fair - the baby of the family. I have so many good thoughts about him-starting from grade school. He pulled the tail off a monkey suit I had to parade around in at Saint Luke's-I was so mad at him. I must have been in second grade or maybe first. So many of my childhood memories include Jerry or one of the Jamisons. (I used to get a nickel from your dad to go to Kohut's for him.)
I know Jerry was a good family man and I hope Cindy and the kids will get through this. I am so glad that I got to hang out with them at the shore a few years back. Our kids played together. So I guess it's been at least 10 years. I always stopped at the bridge to say hello. His great smile will be missed.
I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am-you are in my prayers. Love, Lizanne
