I mentioned our meeting to some friends yesterday as we were waiting for Dr. Frank to make an appearance last night at a club in Cambridge. Dr. Frank is a Berkeley-based blogger and punk rocker with MTX. When I went out to San Francisco last summer, I had a beer with him under similar circumstances to our meeting in Ann Arbor. He's on national tour now to promote his new album. This was the first really-loud rock show I've been to in years, but I brought earplugs to protect my over-40 ears and had a good time.
