Welcome to "Schwabology!"
Your search is over! You have found your one stop site for completely FREE information about everything related to weightlifting, bodybuilding and fitness, workout routines, workout programs and splits, weight loss and losing fat, how to gain weight and muscle mass naturally (steroid and drug free), descriptions of exercises for each muscle group, supplements, diet and nutrition including step by step specific weight loss diets and weight gain diets, plus every thing else you need to know in order to get the body you want! And yes, that was not a typo, everything on this web site is 100% FREE! I'm not trying to sell you a damn thing!
This is a weightlifting and fitness site designed to help people get the results they want. It was web sites just like mine that got me into the gym in the first place with the correct information I needed. There are so many magazines, so many "personal trainers," so many web sites and so many people saying so many different things, and here I will tell you which of those things to listen to. How do I know? Because I wasted almost a year of my time doing the wrong things and now that I know what works for me, I will tell you so you don't make that same mistake.
With that being the goal of my web site, you can expect only the truth here. This web site is designed to help everyone no matter what their goals are and no matter how long they have been trying to achieve that goal. From the beginners who need to be pointed in the right direction to people who have been hitting the gym hard for years and still aren't seeing the results they want.
I did my best to make this site the most complete resource for everyone, no matter what their goals are. Whether you came here to learn about weight loss and how to lose fat, or the high protein diet, or descriptions of exercises for each muscle, or if you came here to learn about ab workouts, the most effective muscle building and weightlifting exercises, how to gain weight and get big, or if you came here to learn about protein powder, bars, shakes and supplements, workout routines and programs, or diet and nutrition facts, it is all here, plus much more, just for you, 100% FREE!
I will provide all types of weightlifting, bodybuilding and fitness information here such as workout routines and programs (including samples of workout routines, the routine I use, and how to set up your own), exercises (what muscle each exercise targets, the proper form that should be used to do them and which exercises are the most effective), supplements (which supplements are "really" needed and why), how to lose weight and how to gain weight, and the types of diets and foods you should be eating in order to lose weight, gain weight or maintain weight.
So, what I am trying to say is that I will do my very best to give you EVERYTHING you need to know so that you will be able to look in the mirror and be proud of what you see. No more hiding during the summer, no more making excuses not to go in the pool or wear certain clothes, and no more hating your own body. No more looking the way that you don't want to look! No more wondering what the guy/girl on the cover of some magazine did to look so good. It's time for you to look that good! It's time for people to ask you what you did to look so good! It's time to get INTENSE and it's time to get results! Use the links/buttons all over this site to look around. Also be sure to bookmark this site and check back often for updates, new stuff gets added all the time.

Hi Scott, do you have a DOB for your Robert H as I'd like to see if we share a common ancestor.
Funnily enough, I have a nephew in the US called Scott Heppenstall (son of Roger). Roger's mother was Nancy Heppenstall, although she remarried in the 1940s and changed her name. dominicheppenstall@hotmail.co.uk

Hi Dominic
My email is sue.stewart@xtra.co.nz
I will send you some details re the siblings, also kind of verified by letters received by James Gustavus Wolferstan from family members talking about who was doing what. But of course they are Wolferstans.
As far as I am aware I am the main researcher from the NZ descendants. Of course there may be others.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Sue, I have quite a bit of info I can let you have. The bottom line is I can take you back to John Heppenstall (born Yorkshire 1762) - master mariner - but there the trail runs cold. He was married to Sarah (nee Truelove). I'd really like to go back further so perhaps someone else out there has some information? I'd still like to figure out the discrepancies in the the number of sibblings but that does seem to be a detail. If you let me have your email I'll send you an interesting document. Somewhere I got the information that Esthers father Robert Heppenstall was commander of the government Malta Schooner "Lady Emily". May have been in the marriage records. All a bit loose at the moment.

Hi Dominic
This looks interesting. Yes I am a direct descendent of Esther - she was my GG grandmother. Her son James came out to NZ and he was my G grandfather but I never met him. His daughter was my maternal grandmother.
One of my aunts who is still alive is named Esther for her G grandmother. We can probably piece together considerable information. We have letters and bits and pieces that fill in the puzzle a bit re Esthers children - Jamses siblings.
Regards, Sue

Hi Sue, We seem to be linked other than one discrepancy - the number of children Esther had which is a bit puzzling. Children of ROBERT HEPPENSTALL and RACHEL ??? are: 15. i. ROBERT A.3 HEPPENSTALL, b. April 29, 1816; d. April 1853. ii. ESTHER HEPPENSTALL, b. 1818; m. ? WOLFER, 1835. Notes for ESTHER HEPPENSTALL: Had 5 children, but only 2 survived. Could you tell me if you are direct descendent of Esther? I may have a link to Esther Heppenstall. My family were master mariners in Limehouse in the late 18c, and some were also based in Malta slightly later. 'Robert Archibald' and 'James' are falily first names to look out for.

My great grandmother, Mary Ellen Canamore (Later spelled Kennemore) married a Wylie or Willye Heppenstall or Hepinstall in Georgia coming to Texas between 1894 and 1900. They had three children: Jennie (my grandmother), Jessie (Jessy) who died age 29 and Agnes who died in 1903 soon after her father's death. I am trying to identify the roots of my greatgrandfather. anitajl@yahoo.com

Looking for a connection with my ggrandmother, Janet Harrower (b28 Apr 1860, Tillicoutry, Clackmannan Scotland) and one Sam Heppenstall (no information available) Janet H had children to husband Peter Walls, a ship's fireman. he jumped ship in Australia, and has never been located. Janet travelled to Australia, back to UK and then had a few trips to and from USA. Family legend says she married Sam Heppenstall, with whom she had a daughter Kathleen (Kate). This may be the same Kate who married George Meserve in New Hampshire. Their daughter Louise's spouse is Mr Bumford. Anyone out there who recognises, any of these people and or events?

i wish you luck as there is very limited information available in virginia prior to 1820. this is due to the war or of 1812-1814,fires and floods, poor record keeping and deteriorating records due to age,and the civil war of 1861-1865. some people are speculating and writing information down as fact. james heptinstall married rebecca bohame/rebecca bohannon on27oct1727 in christchurch, middlesex county virginia/ some records state isle of wight virginia. one source states that their son james was born 04jan1727,nine months before they were married. another source also states that this son also married rachel bohame. some state that caleb is the son of james and rachel. some state that he is the son of william heptinstall and mary price/margaret price. my research found that abraham heptinstall was married to mary price. was he william abraham? some list abraham as the son of a caleb heptinstall. with caleb being born around 1730 and abraham around 1760.. who knows.! > < replied-to message removed by QT >

/m43I am helping my grandfather, Roy Heptinstall, research our Heptinstall ancestry. We have information tracing our lineage back to Caleb Heptinstall of Franklin County Virginia and have recently come across information on James Heptinstall and Rebecca Bohannon who are possibly Caleb's grandparents (or parents?). If anyone has ANY information on James Heptinstall and Rebecca Bohannon married in 1727 in Bedford Co. Viginia please email me at roni_nicole@yahoo.com. We are ultimately trying to connect Caleb Heptinstall to our ancestors in Europe . . . Thank you!

I am researching the Heptinstall families of South Shields and Sunderland. Mainly beginning with George and Elizabeth (nee Oley) Heptinstall and their children born between 1830 and 1850 in South Shields. George was a Blacksmith and his children went on to be glassmakers in Sunderland. I would be interested to know if anyone else is researching in the Tyne and Wear area. My GG grandmother was Esther Heppenstall. She was born about 1818, parents Ropert & Rachael. On 7 March 1835 she married James Wolferstan in Malta. They had 15 children, and my G Grandfather James Gustavus Wolferstan was number 12, born at Tamar Cottage, Beer Fervis, Devon. JG Wolferstan emigrated to NZ in the 1890s. His mother Esther died in 1891 I think. Does anyone have any information about Esther or her ancestors.

I am looking for any information on my gradfather Joseph Heppenstall who married Alice Maud Fleming in West Ham London during 1917. I don't know where he came from but from the north of England and About 5 years later he disappeared and I was informed that he went to the USA somewhere? He had two boys(Frank & Roy)and one girl (Doris) If you have any information or anything that may look similar, I would be very grateful.

David Heppenstall, died 1988, would be 52 years old now, has two brothers, Colin and Robert. I think they were born in Silvertown, East London. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this line of the Heppenstall family?

I am a descendant of Sarah Ann Heptinstall (Turner). She lived 1825 (or 1830?) until 1916 most likely in Bedford, VA and she married Elijah Harrison Turner (born 1819) of VA. She had a son named Thomas Heptinstall Turner (1849-1926). Any information would be appreciated. Thank you!

Having lived in Denmark for a few years and learned to speak Danish, I can offer an alternative translation of 'Heptonstall' or 'Heppenstall'.
'Heppe' translates lierally as 'cheer' or 'cheery' and adding a definite article 'n' to it would mean 'the cheery'.
Stall, in Danish or Norwegian, spelt 'stad' (but pronounced 'stall') means 'place'. It is also commonly used to denote 'city' or 'town'. Our word 'instead', meaning 'in place of' is derived from this.
Thus 'Heppenstall' or 'Heptonstall' (the 't' would remain almost silent - a kind of glottal stop) would translate from Danish or Norwegian, the language our Viking forebears would have spoken, literally as 'The Cheery Place'.
This seems so obvious, does anyone know if I'm overlooking something?

I have recently been on the 1901 UK Census site and discovered that my Great-Grandfather, Sam Heppenstall, was born in Thongsbridge in 1846. Married Mary Walton in 1866 and my Grandfather, George William, was born in 1875, in East Ardsley, nr Leeds. There appear to a number of Heppenstalls who have family connections with Thongsbridge. Does Sam appear in your family's past?
