Why in 4.3a, it ends the ranges with [100-109]? Isn't supposed to stop at 100?
Also in part b. are we expected the make the program summarize the scores again with the given value parameter?

How do you want us to write it out, sample input/output and code?

* No -- it should include all ranges of the given size covering at least some part of [0..100]. The [100..109] bin will only contain scores in the range [100..100], though.
* You should write a separate (but similar) program to use the user-given bin size.

BJB: Either real code or pseudocode will work. If you're writing it in C, ``scanf("%d", &x)'' works. (de nada)

What do you mean by [100...100]? so we stop at 109 right?

and for 4.3. It asks to compute the length, but isn't the answer already given in the book. Or we have to come up with a different formula for computing. Or we have to write a program for computing

I wanted to make sure... for 4.3 I'm using Java, am I allowed to use the Vector class and its functions?

For 4.8, do we have to code it in the language specified (pascal or modula2 or whatever it is) or can we use a different language like C.

Seempoe -- No vectors, please. Stick to arrays.

BangBang -- You can use C (or a C-like subset of C++ or Java).

Just read in information from standard input. An input file is probably the easiest way to think of it.

For 5.9 Do we have to draw 2 coresponding snapshots to illustrate searches for 40, one like fig5.21(recursive) one like fig 5.23(nonrecursive)? Or only the one like fig 5.23 ?
