Greetings:
Kind of excited to find this here. Made a Cursillo in Quincy, IL about 25 years ago .... yeah, I can't believe it was that long ago either.
After I had made my Cursillo 25 years ago, I came back to Springfield and luckily, there was another two guys here that had made a Cursillo that I grouped w/ for a good long time and we're still friends. However tho, since there wasn't a Cursillo or Walk to Emmas to hear, it made it a little difficult.
But my return visit was great and remains so today. Throughout all this time, Quincy has remained ecuminical in its formation and as such, it is thriving. I had an opportunity to make a return visit this past week and watched ... no less than 50 candidates take a big step forward as many, if not all, talked about their experiences the final nite. One guy from MO stepped to the mic and said with a grin on his face .... "I came here this weekend thinking I was going to show you all how to pray" (then he smiled real big and brought the house down)he went on to explain, he wasn't sure if he knew what prayer was before - etc.; but it was great; another person said, "the other nite I thought I was walking into heaven and I was willing to go" etc. It was just really neat to watch each of them talk about their experience and recall my own.
Anyway, I just recently got on your news letter, so .... we'll see how we can make a difference -- but just wanted to say hello in this manner. I have a couple of people I want to sponsor later -- can't wait but time will tell.
Take care, Dan

I lift up my mother-inlaw and sister-inlaw in prayer, as they have turned bitter and resentful since the death of my husband. Please pray for their peace of mind and soul and fill them with gentle kindness and compassion for others. Also pray for my daughter-inlaw that is pregnant and having a difficult time carrying her first child. Thak you Lord for all considerations and Blessings.

Please keep Walks 192 and 193 in your prayers. God is already working in wonderful ways with these teams and the pilgrims whose hearts He is talking to. The Faith Walkers Bible Study Group is singing God's praises. PTL -- God is good -- All the time.
