Each year, the New England Literacy Resource Center and the Nellie Mae Education Foundation host The Effective Transitions in Adult Education Conference. The conference has been closed to non-Nellie Mae funded programs for the past five years but that's all about to change.
Next year, the Effective Transitions Conference will be open to the public. While no date has been set yet - you can expect the conference to be held in the fall in one of the New England states. So as you plan your professional development activities for 2007 please keep this conference in mind.
