"I don't get it. Does he have a purpose? Was I supposed to be amused?"
I'm not sure if you mean whether you should be amused by him or by me pointing him out. But, no both ways. He used to be much more entertaining, but then he switched from one brain-med to another. Gone were his angular and angry drawings about Sonic and Sailor Moon. Now, we get these warm&fuzzy big-eyed dullathons like in the link. It takes 6 strips done over the course of weeks to let us know that Daveykins Adam Packbell drinks a lot of caffeine, and that cross-town traffic is light. Crimeny. Whatever happened to those glory days of murdering the MST3K crew with his Space Blimp?

"Adam Packbell." Anyone want to bet that those are derived from the names of Davey's first computer, and his latest? A simple twist of fate in the past, and he might have been called "Commodore Applintosh." "Tandy Dell." "Sinclair Hew le Tard."

As for tannins, as I read your post I was drinking a glass of red wine, and that doesn't make me puke. The caffeine thing is all I can come up with, and so far I puke a lot less. It's probably less monocausal than I think, but I'm going with what works for now.
