I'm not sure if you mean whether you should be amused by him or by me pointing him out. But, no both ways. He used to be much more entertaining, but then he switched from one brain-med to another. Gone were his angular and angry drawings about Sonic and Sailor Moon. Now, we get these warm&fuzzy big-eyed dullathons like in the link. It takes 6 strips done over the course of weeks to let us know that Daveykins Adam Packbell drinks a lot of caffeine, and that cross-town traffic is light. Crimeny. As for tannins, as I read your post I was drinking a glass of red wine, and that doesn't make me puke. The caffeine thing is all I can come up with, and so far I puke a lot less. It's probably less monocausal than I think, but I'm going with what works for now.
