I fear turning to God in Prayer anymore because every time I do something worse happens in my Life.Every time I do what is asked of me something Bad comes along. What is up with that??? where is God???Do any of you know what this is like??? Liz, regarding your friend Faith, I listen to the Christian show MoneyLife regularly and although they don't encourage bankruptcy, they suggest it may be a good route especially if the person is suffering emotionally due to their financial situation. As stressful as that process can be - and it can be rather painless with a good/kind/knowledgeable attorney - it could give her the chance to start over and live within her means. Now, maybe her situation is worse than filing bankruptcy could solve (i.e. no income) and I will definitely pray for her regardless. Even the Bible allowed for an individual's debts to be forgiven every seven years.

Please pray for my husband. He has the flu or maybe mono. We're supposed to go to a birthday party for him tomorrow at his parents house and he really wants to go and see family.
