In Mail, I can't find a way to always BCC my secretary on outgoing mail I send. Under Preferences, I hit the Compose tab and only have the option to either CC or BCC myself, but no one else. Any ideas of how to add the functionality of ALWAYS BCC'ing someone else without having to manually doing it with each message?

In X10.3 Mail with about 30 mails open, frozen with rainbow wheel flying and message in mail window -'Resuming interupted append'. I cannot close any of the mails. After force quit and restart I reopen mail and same situation returns. Urgent help needed. Edited 07-26-2004 04:33 PM

I'd like to see the number of messages in my Inbox appear in my menubar. I have filters that put most stuff in other folders, and would like to see if I need to check the Inbox. The Dock shows that, but that's a trip I don't want to take every time I hear the bell ring. Anyone know of plugin/shareware that does this?
I get from 30 to 150 messages a day. The junk mail filter is about 95% accurate; other filters (about 4 of them) work fine. I've had no problems - using latest OS X. I'm quite satisfied with it.

I'd like to hear comments about sheer robustness of the current Mail.app. I wanted so much to love Mail, but I jumped to Mailsmith after the third rebuild of my mailboxes in the span of a month. I use a lot of rules, but I get about 25 percent of the traffic Rob does and I was always wondering when Mail was going to scramble itself again...
