Brandy, If you click go on the Kitz and Katz website there are links to SNAP and PAWS website. They have spay neuter clinics every month I think.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if Kitz and Katz do declawing while the cat is being spayed? If not if there is anywhere I get a discounted price on this?

Michelle, no they don't declaw. I don't know of any place that does it at a discount either. Let us know if you do.

Do you ever post "success stories" from past Kitz & Katz adoptions when you were located in Hanover near the billard place. If so I have a wonderful story.

Thank you for allowing me to share my story. In 2000 for my birthday I wanted a calico kitten. We searched everywhere and couldn't find one. Someone suggested we try Kitz & Katz that at that time had a shelter in the strip mall in Hanover near where Family First Health is. So we went there and checked the kitten room. No calico. The lady there suggested we look in the "adult cat" room that perhaps I would find a cat to my liking. I saw several cute cats, a female tortie who had given birth to kittens 2 weeks earlier she really wasn't interested in being observed. I saw a cute black and white cat they called Oreo, well while they were trying to catch "Oreo" I sat down on a carpeted benched they had built in. The next thing I knew a small brown tabby cat had jumped into my lap and settled herself down. She had been laying in the front window trying to be oblivious to all the commotion that was going on. I held her up and she hugged me, she loved to be held and would cling to your right shoulder. The lady there told me they called her "lovebug" because she hugged everyone. How could I resist this small brown thing looking up at me? I picked her, and actually picked her up after the 48 hour waiting period. When she saw me come in she came right up to me and jumped up to be held. We named her Bailey. Bailey's been with us since that time, she'd been a true blessing to me. She sticks by my side when I'm sick, she always gives me hugs and comes whenever she's called. She encouraged me to adopt 3 more strays, so our happy home includes four beautiful cats all who are fixed and front declawed. Bailey is the oldest and queen, she has 2 sisters and a brother now. I want to thank Kitz & Katz for giving me the opportunity to adopt this precious bundle of fur. Keep doing what you are doing it's a true blessing to the community.
