When it comes to Usenet, I'm old fashioned. I prefer a fast, text-only newsreader like MT-NewsWatcher. I was a beta tester, but after taking a quick look at each new release, I always went back to MT-NW.

IS there any Mac newsreader that will bring down, say, 300,000 message headers without taking forever to sort, thread, etc etc. I cant find any that are even half as fast as say, newsbin pro, for PC. With binary groups containing over 800,000 message headers, its not unusual I want to dl 200-300k headers at a time. I tried using Panics new browser, it took over 30 minutes to dl and sort 250k headers on my powerbook G4. Rediciulous.
