A question to Maya Shrestha.
Do you sell Pashmina shawls? How can I get one?

I'd like to buy a pashima (genuine)shawl online. I don't think you get genuine pashmina shawls online? Would you tell me where to get one for a good price?

Sorry, our Ithaca base is just a home office. We do accumulate exchanges and photo samples here, which we list for sale on the Cleanance page, but we don't have a showroom or anything like that. There are simply too many colors and customizations for us to carry a useful inventory, so we make up each piece as needed, and everything is shipped directly from Nepal to the customer.

Hi- I live near Ithaca. Does Sunrise Pashmina do retail sales, or online orders only? Thanks.

Hi, I would like to find out your prices for quantity or wholesale orders. I am a flight atendant and usually go to Istambul to buy, but have been unable to travel lately because of (on-the-job) injury leave. Have a small business and need some spring/summer colors in the 70/30 blend pashmina. What price can you give me for 100 pieces. Let me know at ryanhouse@abac.com
Thanks.

Hello - I am trying to get an answer to an email question sent to the info email address about pashmina/silk blends, but have not received a response.
My question is whether, if the silk adds lustre to the standard 30%/70% blend pashminas, the 50%/50% blend is (as well as being more durable) even more lustrous or gleaming than the 30/70 blend?
I am keen to place an order but would like to know the answer to my question first.
Cheers,
Nicky, Brisbane, Australia.

Hello...Try contacting www.ativasativa.com. they source their pashmina from Kashmir. pashmina has been made in Kashmir for centuries and until a few years ago it was the only place pashmina was made. Hope this helps.

Response to Carl: We have tried our best to get a pure white, and this past spring we checked all the pashmina stores in Kathmandu, and nobody else has white. Apparently the yarn's color cannot be covered with such a light color dye. The alternative is bleaching, but this would damage the fiber.
Response to Gabrielle: You might want to consider a "Certificate of Belated Delivery" ... telling your giftee that the pashmina is on the way... or a Gift Certificate, allowing her to make her own choice.

I was hoping to be able to receive a shawl before Christmas, but I can understand this might not be possible. Some other time, maybe.

Hi, Tsering! Actually, I've purchased four pieces already, and was just looking for something special for my wife this Christmas... a pure white ring shawl. But it would appear that you do not sell a pure white. Sorry...
