Sounds like the glory of winter has been replaced by the salt slime residue left on the cars' and the pollution laced remains of the snowmounds left by the snowplow. Sigh! I can look back on those days and be happy I'm in Arizona. Of course I have glorious white cranes and great blue herons pooping on my roof and messing up my newly cleaned windows. "Birdy, birdy, in the sky..." mentioned nothing about the excrement of "Big Bird" on my roof but I suppose I should be glad that cows don't fly. Suggestion? Take a wonderful picture of an old (experienced) snarled tree spreading it's bare branches against a steel grey sky.

Hey, the tree thing is a great idea, but what about the new ICE Palace that just got finished over in St Paul? If we can get Mr D to actually DRIVE over there to take the picture, he wouldn't even have to pay admission to go inside. That, or he saw some mysterious "columns of light" the other night when he just happened to wake up and he shot a few pics of them with the digital. They are not up close or anything, but they look a little like... dare I say it? Oh what the heck, UFOs!!! Or maybe the beams of light coming from UFOs. Maybe he will put them up for you to see now that I spilled the beans about him witnessing and taking pics of them. He got several pics, too, so he could put up the best one. RRD
