Hey Wolfman keep making these politicians squirm. It's the only thing keeping them honest. My friends and I are trying to decide who to vote for congress in the 2006 elections. We live in the 10th congressional district of California (Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, and Sacramento Counties). There isn't much offline info available about the candidates. Their names are Darcy Linn http://www.darcylinn.com , Jeff Ketelson http://www.k4a.net , and Ellen Tauscher http://www.ellentauscher.com . Any advice would be helpful. thanks.

Wolf, Wolf, Wolf, I just watched the program on your visit to Dubai. Two comments on that, and one on a separate subject. 1. Why did you wait until AFTER the terminal management deal was on the rocks before doing this "investigative" report??? 2. The question you posed to viewers was incorrect. It should have been, "Did the MEDIA overreact to the port deal", not, "Did congress overreact...". All congress did was react to the media reports! 3. On another subject, please either grow a real beard (my preference) or get rid of the stubble. It makes the lower half of your face look anemic.

I like watching you do the news. First and formost, I don't hear you labeling an issue as democrat or republican. We are all Americans and need to look at the issues, not the parties. America has some very large problems right now and I believe what President Bush did violated Americans civil rights,(that is one of our FREEDOMS). Bush's action is like a slap in the face to our brave and lone troops in Iraq. As the troops fight for Iraqs freedom, our President is taking ours away!!!! By the way, if Bush wanted to end "his war", just bring back the draft! Just an American

Mr. Blitzer: Excellent interview today with Donald Rumsfield. Thank you for asking the follow up questions necessary to get beyond Mr. Rumsfield's standard rhetoric.

sWolf Blitzer: Sir, if you think you are smarter than the general of the Marines and Donald Rumsfeld and the Pres. of the United States, why aren't you running the country? Frankly, I'd hate to see a cement head like you in charge of anything related to international policy or domestic issues. Bye the way, why don't you get a good clean shave like a decent man should and look respectable?

Wolf..... who is your "boss" ? Please tell her / him to provide you with a chair and desk when reporting on The Situation Room (THAT would be much more professional...and avoid the task, for you, of walking around the "set").
Really enjoy listening to you reporting the "news".

Thor Nibus...Thanks for the comment...I do think there are safer places to build cities...but from what I saw on the news, it looks like the New Orleans people want to rebuild there.

My heart goes out to all those displaced by Katrina, but now is the time to start correcting the inherent flaw. The major flooding of the Mississippi River homes in the past was caused by levees either being inadequate, weak, or sabotaged, so the Army Corps of Engineers wants to heighten them in New Orleans? They should be removed and allow Mother Nature to determine where we live and build cities. Sure, Venice, Italy is romantic, but it's no place for thriving commerce (other than tourism). New Orleans should be redefined without levees. Laws should be passed forbidding the building (and/or re-building) of residential structures below sea level.

In the news conferences the officials keep patting themselves on the back(or cya) . time for them to get off tv and do the job they say they said they would do as the storm was approaching. face it they failed.
