If Intel puts WiMAX chips into every PC, would that start the avalanche which gives us all fast wireless broadband?

It's 2007 now but still nobody is sure that WiMAX will be successful.
The lack of spectrum and hardware - are the main problems.

Andy Seybold is a blow-hard for the old liners cellular camp. WiMAX 802.16e equipment is being deployed, check your facts.
