I rented the first season of Strangers with Candy, not really a movie per se, but so horribly funny... oh, and I have very nerdily watched the extended version of The Two Towers twice since it came out (which was only a few days ago). Not only did I sit through the movie twice but I also watched the appencices...eesh.

Hey you are bang on about the Good Thief. I saw that movie and was very impressed with it.. Where I live there is a limited selection of indie films to choose from, and unfortunately this would be categorised as one of them. I suppose I am so particularly fond of it because it involves casinos and art...who can complain about those two combinations.

I love John Hannah in a slightly obsessive and possibly creepy way. To the point that I actually own the first two "mummy" movies ... because of HIM.

I rented "28 Days Later" Saturday night and loved it! It was creepy, and eerily beautiful ... plus I just got back from London & to see it deserted like that was super-weird. I understand all the yelping about "Omega Man" but I just didn't care. And the guy who the soldiers chained in the yard? He totally deserves an Oscar nod. I'm just sayin'.

Bonnie:
If you haven't seen it in the theaters yet -- and you want to visit Tokyo -- rent LOST IN TRANSLATION when it comes out on DVD (yeah, that's how Hollywood-types spell out movie titles -- all in CAPS because their PROJECT IS IMPORTANT!).

Seriously, best movie I've seen this year.

Secretary is so wonderful! Mentally, visually and sexually stimulating. James Spader is so unique in his role, and the leading lady has a fascinating mind.

hey, i would love to hear your review on, 'kill bill'. how abt that? well, recently i watched 'punch drunk love'. im not a big sandler's fan but a big radiohead's fan instead. it's a very dysfunctional movie. recommended for ppl who thinks their lives are no better. but no, i don't like the movie. just not my kind of movie. bonnie, have you watched 'he loves me, he loves me not' starring audrey toutou? i think you would like the movie.

I saw a movie on VHS about a year ago it was about 3 or 4 old men living in a group home, somehow a mafia king's father was killed and these old men who were one time "big wheels" in the gangster arena had to move the body and cover up some details of the man's death. These old guys had to contact their old crimminal pals and do some of the things they did when they were young gangster. The female investigator of the crime was one of these old guys' grown up daughters (unbeknownst to her).

Does anyone out there know the name of this movie... I'd like to rent it again. Burt Reynolds was one of the stars, I don't remember who the other folks were. I asked at the video stores in my area and no one could help me... some of the suggestions were tough guys, wise guys, outlaws, but none of these movies were what I was looking for. OFFICIAL STAR TREK LAS VEGAS CONVENTION

Star Trek Lives Large in Vegas!

Creation Entertainment proudly joins forces with our friends at Paramount Pictures, Star Trek: The Experience and The Las Vegas Hilton to present The 3rd Annual Official Star Trek Convention.

In 2003, thousands of attending fans were delighted with the amazing guest line-up, fabulous theatrical performances, zillions of autographs and photo opportunities, excellent parties, a huge dealers exhibition, exciting auctions and contests, and the surprise announcement of the new attraction (BORG INVASION 4-D) coming to Star Trek: The Experience!

Now, we're doing it again, but BIGGER and BETTER: with an additional day of fun and an extra track of programming through much of the convention schedule. You can also check out Star Trek: The Experience's BORG INVASION 4-D attraction, now open and a (we loved it) smash hit (it is SO great to have Star Trek at the forefront of entertainment technology: just where it should be!)

Simply stated this event is the absolute wildest, craziest, out of this galaxy weekend ever for Star Trek fans. The convention offers it all: the best facilities, the best location, the world's most fun city, the greatest line-up of guests, the friendliest group of fans... it all comes together, but it can't make history without you!

Remember what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas: so come to have the time of your life! If you make one vacation in 2004 make it to the city of Las Vegas and The Official Star Trek Convention!
