FH : my work is not getting affected,but i do feel that instead of spending on CH, if i spend the same freetime on something else, maybe it is worthwhile.

though during the time on CH i do enjoy it, it takes awaythe boredom from work, more than boredom it gives a change from the routine stuff i am expected to do at work.

CH tends to get crazy once in a while. Blogs were ok till mr bhatt came and tried to spam them. As long as people don't take that hot list to their head, its fun and nice.

House and work somehwo don't go well for me.. ENd up paying fines all the time. He He yesterday evening got a letter from my landlord a tax cocument saying he had paid me some 30$ as interest. I went and checked my bills and docs and there was uncashed cheque lying there expired..

earlier dollar always used to appreciate (comparing against ruppee), now it is not the case.

  My mother sat back calculating all dat I had saved over my time in Us and was telling me the other day, it is not make a difference to you and was asking me to come back. So I'm on a crusade now to save as much as possible. atleast for the next 2.

 Also I think India is good for enterpreneur market. Start a provident fund savings retirement for the future and invest the rest in some business..(Wot?? dat should be is still undecided..)

right now things are changing at chennai and bangalore, it is beyond our imagination, allmost all the indoor facilities what we get here is available there, except for the good roads and the pollution issue.

the office atmosphere in many multinational companies are just like here.
even housing as improved a lot, there are many sub division type of houses in blr, chennai, i am sure they are in bby too (i don't get chance to read bby related news).

what i am saying is if at all we have to go back, it is not all that bad compared to what it was some 5 years ago.

That is true Anil. But I love working in Mumbai. But If I go back I am not sure I will like the work environment in Chennai. And I am looking/working for something on my own.

i think they already conducted in ny sometime ago, and there was good response itseems.

Anetra - avoid the most popular tourists spots. There are still lots of places in India that are oozing with raw wild untouched beauty. Go on hikes. I really miss my India hikes. No proper directions. No easily-available resources to give the exact information on distance, difficulty, trail-maps, etc. The unexpected still happens on hikes. It's still wild country there. Oh babe, I miss India like I miss a woman!

lol... You didn't any other point for making this resolutions. Last year I'd gone down to Ooty for a week. Everywhere posted were signs saying "No Litter".. Of course, it's pretty clean, but too much of deforestation. The place that was an evergreen valley once, now has no trees, "dry"... very "dry". Dunno how long they will keep foolin people dat it's still a tourist place.Went down to Pykara falls and that was an even bigger disappointment.. Saw a lot of buffaloes and small streams of water, and there was a couple up there desperately trying to get a romantic snap amidst waterfalls.. but afsooossss no water..
   I saw those people walkign up down the hill, the women folk with 2-3 pots of water and I was amazed, so lightfooted. I walked down to the love dale station about 1.5 mailes and I was thorougly exhausted.. Anyway the beauty of the place is long gone.. empty n devoid except for the growin populace.
