The stars at long last are right, and the evil vicar, a secret priest of Cthulhu, has summoned forth the sea demon Cracker which he immediately propitiates with a sacred cake and flaming incense. Having devoured the cake, Cracker sets out to slay all who travel the oceans in preparation for the awakening of the Dreamer who waits in drowned R'leyh. As he goes he chants, "Ia! Ia! Cthulhu Fthagn!" The vicar quakes in terror, shocked at the horror he himself has unleashed upon the world.
