Support for IT problems. In response to Cam's note about IT problems, we asked Nancy Marksbury from IT to give us some direction for you all. Here is Nancy's reply. nVidia Quadro FX3400 256Mb PCI E DVI FX 3400 High End Video| 06P6210|"IT strives to be responsive to all problems that arise, in as timely a fashion as is possible. Anyone can send an email to IT@cwpost.liu.edu stating their issue. Since late last semester, we have assigned technicians to specific areas of the campus, giving responsibility for buildings and areas to a designated individual with the expectation the technician can spot trends and understand specific needs for that school or college. We now also field telephone problems with our helpdesk system as well, so that reports of telephone issues can also be sent to IT@cwpost.liu.edu." For all, we hear continually that IT is responsive. So... what should you do if the system doesn't seem to work some time? Just reach out again with your request but also ask for a more global response to guide others. We think you'll find satisfaction.

www.disabilityinsuranceforums.com/index.cfm This is a much more active forum and may give you more help than you will find here.
This looks like an old post as the reassesment is supposed to be completed.
I repaired my reassesment documents with the intent of getting it looked at after the reassesment was completed. I listed many of the places that the original claims handling fell short of what was needed for full and fair review of the claim. Pointed out where what they said I needed to have a valid claim did not agree with the requirements in the policy.
UNUMProvident did not overturn the denial but I was able to get reassesment reviewed and after the several rounds of trying to ignore questions asked by the DOI (reviewers) the rereviewed the claim and I received my back pay interest and continuing benefits.

I am a stressout UNUM victim. I was ordered by my doctor not to work. I asked him to give me a return to work paper. My doctor would not allow an insurance company to change his medical instruction. Unum could care less clevo m540, clevo m375 m360 M300N M310N, clevo dr202 me202bb what my doctors said. There doctors said I could work. Then my employer said I had no work available. I am 50 years old. SSD approved me immediately - I thought I would have to fight SSA not UNUM. I received the reassessment package. If you have submitted your reassessment package, please let me know how that is going. This time I am trying to retain a lawyers. I'm from Louisiana and I can't find lawyers who handle ERISA cases. What are you doing different from your initial disability application?

Information for you: I filed a Racketeering influence corrupt organization complaint against Merck & Co. including Raymond Gilmartin, and Scolnick and Richard Clark. This case is about Vioxx and the RICO case is presently in the 5th Circuit Court of appeals waiting for the Judgment order to be signed by the Judge. I fled the RICO complaint in June 2007.the case No. is 07-31094. In 1962 Congress omitted product liability from the FDA act and placed a shield up for defective prescription drugs and left the public at risk of being killed or injured by prescription drugs. Merck knew this when they put Vioxx on the market and frauded the public. There is no product liability law Federal or State Laws, Merck is untouchable and so are all the prescription drug companies in the US. Check it out. Congress preempted the FDA act and now everyone who is killed or injured can not prosecute for the murders. Merck's Vioxx killed 88,000 people and injured 169.000 injured with heart attacks and strokes. I know I am a Vioxx Survivor. If you have received injury from Merck's Vioxx and you had an attorney file a case and it ended up in a class action. Merck does not have to pay any settlement to anyone. becasue there is NO LAW, Federal or State. They claim they did no wrong even if they kill a loveone or injured you with any of the prescription drugs. You are at RISK.

May have a source that may be looking for documentation to show that UNUM was playing games in the reassesment.
The new finical report may be showing that UNUM is again denying claim to make the books come out where they want them to instead of honoring claimants that should be paid.
In my case UNUM did not send me the Reassessment notification until I notified my DOI that was after all notification letters were supposed to have been sent out.
I heard that there were others in the same situation.
I also heard that notification was sent out to many that were not eligible for reassessment and had no claim as the product line was not even covered.
How many of the letters sent were to make it look like they did what was required but were sent to hide the fact that they were playing games to hide they were not sending letters to individuals that had valid issues with UNUM's claims handling?

Better get back to taking your medications. You're in a sad state and you'll never get better until you focus on what can help you.

Beware of racially obnoxious whites in north america who cannot bear truths and especially from nonwhites as the whites are small stone cowards full of narrow-minded jealousy, hatred, and unwarranted obstacle and disturbance creation in the name of competitiveness; incapability in the name of innocence, ignorance, and arrogance; immaturity in the name of white christianity; bias in the name of privilege; trespassing, infiltration, colonialism, and wars, in the name of business, technology, education, and job creation; weaklingness in the name of networking; financial freedom in the name of loan-dependence; in between the lines talks, embedded nonsense, and mind games, in the name of politeness, decency, and smartness; neighborhood harassment in the name of neighborhood watch; human rights and privacy violations in the name of unpermitted selfish impositions of security and protection; a culture full of provocation, infiltration, and mean-spiritedness, increasing their karmas in the name of if you ain't white you ain't right; Bravo the immature predatory white war oriented competitive rat race! http://www.linkoflinks.0catch.com/linkoflinks.html

Why do the credit bureaus allow this company to report to them LTD overpayments and ruin peoples credit? This is not a consumer credit matter but an insurance matter. I think that the practice of reporting to the credit bureaus is in direct violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Especially if you look into the definition of debtor as defined by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Any lawyers want to take a crack at this one?
