Id like to know if anyone has tested their SD slot after installing the Update. The trouble is that I dont think anyone has got the balls to fry another card if the thing still doesnt work. I certainly dont.
I doubt whether PalmOne will recall the units. They will probably just release a patch that slows the unit down when writing to the card.
Either way, Im in the situation that alot of others are: I love the thing but it has big problems. Im gutted that I cant even listen to MP3s on it yet. The battery life does suck and the screen is a little mirky in places.
The worst thing about all this is that PalmOne dont seem to be doing anything about it, at least not in a hurry.
