Hello Kevin,
Thanks for your efforts to provide your first-hand unfiltered (review process) perspective of the news in Iraq. I hope you are open to discuss other topics than what I've seen on your board so far. I see this as an opportunity for me to gain your insights into news events as the rebuilding grinds on.
  Do you see the rebuilding effort more of a European vs. American capitalistic struggle, or do you really see good intentions from all sides of the allied forces that are rebuilding Iraq?
let me try to clarify my thoughts. It seems that the lag of the rebuilding, which is causing unrest of the local Iraqi population, is a result of a power struggle for economic exploitation. It appears the west wants a piece of the oil revenue, and each western govt is trying to make sure theirs is biggest bucket in the well.
Do you see signs of this from your vantage point?
- I probaly only check for responses once per week, but your thoughts are appreciated.
