credd,

the problem is: getting majority votes and discussing everything with the community is VERY time consuming. I doubt there is anybody who can spend this much time on the flog. I notice that currently there are already impatient comments again why things are not moving forward, but mods have a job and a life like anybody else. When the log was new, the rules were very simple and there was only one mod, and this one mod was deleting off topics without asking because the rules were clear. Nobody ever doubted that. It is almost impossible to please everybody, there will always be one person complaining.

And about democratic performance: if 10 people gave comments on a pic, 6 said it's ok and 4 said it's not ok where do you draw the line? if you keep the pic because 6 people said it's ok will there be one who says "you should have asked 15 people instead of 10"?

Tough cookies and a VERY wide field... my opinion is that the whole game is still way too complicated to stay manageable with all the rules - I couldn't even say which pic is valid or not since I've lost track, esp. re. the limitations like max. number of license plates et al.

SEQUENTIAL NUMBERS right now, has an Open Discussion going on about 3 issues to decide on. If it goes well, we'll have more of them and decide on other things too. Keep it polite, please. I'll be standing by and working on some S_N stuff that happened today while I wait to respond to comments.

Just for the records:

I don't endorse or authorize anybody to use my name in any sort of letter/manifesto/complain/protest against the moderators of Sequential Numbers group fotolog. If I eventually find out my name endorsing any sort of document without my previous authorization - for any reason - I'll consider it an abuse and report it to fotolog administration.

My opinion is that Delina is doing a great job as a moderator and I want her to stay.

thanks.

Hello Delina!
One more time I would like to say that it was really good that you've accepted dimilinche's idea about this open discussion. It's good that we've started with the rules but you know that we had a moderators problem. You can't do the job alone and for us it seems that you are the only mod that seq#s has. I hope we can talk about that soon.

So, you, mods, have 48 hours to delete EACH picture sent by me. Delete them Immediately.

I certainly hope this request is being ignored.

Hi TeraGram, It is a ludicrous demand, and I have no intention of complying with it. There for a couple of seconds, it sounded as if you were making the demand on another person's behalf. It didn't sound like you at all. Then I read the rest of your comment and realized what you were saying. ;0)

Transient problems with the f/f database. It was not removed actively. It's back now.

I didn't disagree about changing the modz from time to time. I disagree that the modz couldn't post. I think it would be to boring to be a mod and not be able to post. For me it doesn't matter if it's going to change each 100 or not, it matter that they have to be honest and fair!! But I defnitly think that we need more modz!!

What was decided about license plates? 3/10?

It's good to see everyone participating!! :)

No one answer me at Seq_numb, so i'll try here.

Dear mods and Hukes,
we all want a fair and enjoyable game, so some doubts could be cleared to me and the others users.
I would like to know why Pat deleted the 470 and the last jpinho bus nš, why the mods told to /samaluca and /jvc to never appear or post here again and if this is right , why the mods asked the fotolog admins to deactivate /jpinho and why some comments posted here have been deleted without explanation....
i guess only after all these questions get clear the users of seq_numbs will feel comfortable and safe to play here.

Yours

rodrigov

/rodrigov, Your impatience with asking questions that require a lot of thought and most likely lengthy answers, and many of them is pretty clear. It is not that I didn't answer. It is that I didn't answer "yet". I just spent a long time answering the parts that I intend to answer. They are one the Comment Depository 2 (not that they really belong there, but I'm not sure I am up to trying to get them transferred over to here right now).

you're completely right Delina, i was impatient, i'm sorry, as i spent too much time conected the last 2 days i'd the wrong impression that was taking too much time to have an answer. I was wrong!
Well you decide where i must post my comments about this issues, just tell me. I copied your answer at seq_numb and will read during the weekend.

yours
