Nah. A better idea is to download a version of Gemini 2.10 from toecutters which has PPP support.

It is really interesting. Do you think this way you can start pppd on DM 5620 too?

I had a look at the notes on the protocol between the Dreambox and the DreamUp software. Just out of curiosity, I repeated the experiment. As far as I can see, my DreamUp software doesn't send the string "dream" to my dreambox.
Out of further curiosity, I ran up a terminal to my dreambox, waited for the "Dreambox DM5620" message and keyed in "dream". The Dreambox responded with "ok<LF><CR>". No long string.
Well, I thought it was interesting.

can somebody tell me please wat i can watch with dreambox.i meen wich paceges for the moment.thanks!!!!

)-:,this it means that i cannot upload the softcam ecc...? can i do with the serial port the same process ?
