No, not the muslim dude. I just can't understand why someone has to write a book to get their point accross. You should run for political office. I used to read your posts but now when I see more than two paragraphs I avoid the headache and move to the next post.

"...Ramble On, Simple Minded Person, Yes, The Blabber Mouth and Proud Muslim are all the same person--does this on all the forums..."

Should I insist that she prove that statement to be,in fact, the truth?

Nah!Given her track records,I wouldn't count on it.

If I want to play tit-for-tat I would make similar statement with nasty insults. But I wouln't lower myself to that level.I discredit a false argument with facts, not innuendoes. And that's the different between me and you,Beany.

And I'm being accused of "twisting"?!?

For my critics,if you can't discern halftruths, rumors and blatantly false informations being spreading in this forum,it's for you.

Unfortunately we have to get used to this working with less people and it's only gonna get worse, but thankfully we do have the union to help us with nasty supervisors and PM's.

Get a note pad and document all the nasty things he says, the threats, dates and times, etc. Have all the others do the same and then if push comes to shove--call eeo. They always send a notice to the PM's boss that someone (they can't give the name) has filed for an application and that get's them scared even if you don't persue the claim or the redress thing.

With all your documented info it can be used whenever you decide, but it definately helps your steward when he approaches the PM on his violating the elm. Many egotistical supervisors (especially the junior ones that are still wet behind the ears) think they are untouchable, but I will tell you I took one to EEO a few years back and won. It was fun to watch him squirm while his boss chewed him up. They even sent him back to school! All I can say is if he had put lipstick on, my butt would have been red after his boss got done with him. I gave this guy 9 chances to stop his harassment but he didn't have the brains to stop, thus I was forced to go to EEO which is not my style. But this guy had to be stopped by someone, thus I did it. I had 24 witnesses willing to back me up, but I never used any of their statements--didn't have to because my statements were enough to hang him. Never even got to read all my statements--his boss knew I was right, well prepared, thus by the time I got to number 5 his boss grabbed him, took him out of the room and started yelling at him big time--we all could hear it! He gave him 2 options 1-To go back in the room and apologize to me, stop all his harassment toward me or 2-Give up his badge and go back to the craft he came from.

P.S. There's also age discrimination in the EEO rules-- for people over 40--ask your steward about it!!

The steward told us almost exactly what you said. This jerk (PM) had resignation forms and said we can use them if we want to. As usual, management can't deal with the fact that they too are responsible for this fiasco. He reminds us of how other facilities are short handed. We feel for those places but we work here not there. Steward told PM bring it on. He also asked him was this a threat to our jobs. Just make sure you are doing what is correct also. PM kinda backed down. There goes the morale, down another 10 points.

I must say that my co-workers do put out a good effort everyday. We are lucky for that. But you can only divide folks so many ways to do a job before it does not matter. Down by 12 mailhandlers and he expect things to be the same as they were 2 years ago. Not gonna happen.

Bonita: Gainfully employeed is what the contract says thus what work habits is he talking about? I hardly think the inspectors would be interested in your daily work habits, amazing how a PM can threaten you--that is a direct threat--ask your steward about workplace violence, threats, etc. It's in the elm that ALL employees (that includes PM's) are to maintain a harmonious work environment--a PM threatening his workers--now the inspectors might like that! Perhaps you need to remind him that he's threatening you!!

I also appreciate you Beany Baby. What you say makes alot of sense. It's curious to me why Muslin is threatend by you. Wonder what that's all about? A guy who can't handle a strong, educated woman would be my guess.

Ramble On, Simple Minded Person, Yes, The Blabber Mouth and Proud Muslim are all the same person--does this on all the forums, sits at a computer with nothing better to do than harass posters. Have fun. Oops-gotta hurry and leave for work-- going in 2 hours early for overtime.

I like your posts also Beany Baby. With all that is going on, workers need to know what other folks are going thru. PM had a meeting with us mailhandlers today. Preached about getting the mail out on time. I asked him where was the mailhandler casual. He says he's working the clerk operation because they are short today. DPS was very late and the carriers were huffy. I guess our being short by 2 people on leave doesn't count. Then he says if he has to call the OIG about our work habits he will. Steward said he welcomes an outsider looking at this pathetic place. Iwelcome the blue suits here. However, we know the rights of employees, so if they come here, we are prepared. I'll keep you guys posted as to what this "I hope I keep my job" PM does.

The money USPS management wastes on EEO things that should have not been done by management in the first place, add on the grievance arbitrations because they also deny all grievances at step 1 and step 2--- : http://www.postalreporter.com/news/2008/08...rvice-work-force-2/

Simple Minded Person: Incase you haven't noticed, this is not a popularity contest, it's a postal automation forum--your entitled to hate whomever you wish. I have no reason to hate (strong words) anyone.

It's kinda hard to put things in 1 paragraph when so much is going on in our plant--some people want ALL the facts, others do not-- thus the old saying: "You can please some of the people all the time, all the people some of the time, and then there's just some you can't please at all"! Such is life!!!!!

Geez Beeny Baby, If you could only do what you do and do it in one paragraph --everyone here would love you! But since you like to write a book instead of putting it in plain english in a paragraph -- people kinda hate you.
