similarly, my friends and i are forming a band of people who rock, but who picked up instruments too late in life to sound musical. our goal is to make a lot of noise and have "all fun! all the time." i'll find out about last drop, since it's on my way home.

I'm not going to be able to make to doobies tonight. But a friend of my roommate's told me about a knitting circle at germantown nursing home that she and some friends are going to. I'm gonna go to that....would anybody else be interested? It's this saturday, not sure about the time yet

knitting knitting everywhere! i'm going to try to make the last drop on sunday, but I can't get there until 5. if that doesn't happen, i will probably check out the tuesday night gathering at a bookstore in west philly. it's between 38th and 39th and walnut. i don't know the name offhand but it's a nice place filled with used books. no smoke worries.
i'll be back with further details.

okay. so, i hate to do this, but i can not get together this week. i am down to pennies at the moment, and i can't even afford an extra speedline ticket. if everyone is still into the idea, can we plan something for next weekend? i am REALLY sorry.

I am desperately searching for a shrug pattern for little girls ages 4 and 3. I made them smocked dresses this summer and I want them to be able to wear them into the fall and have the smocking show while they are wearing a sweater. Does anyone know where I can find a shrug pattern?

Hi, In the 50s, jibbers very popular. They were like a head band but tied under the chin. I would love to knit a jibber but just can't find a pattern. Can anyone please help me. Thanks. Sally
