As we end another year and look toward changes next year I would like to thank each one of you for your service to your students, the pre-service teachers at ASU, and to the Professional Learning Communities. With this change several of you may be interested in stepping aside and handing the torch to someone else. If you plan on doing this please let me know as soon as possible so that I can find a replacement for you. Just know that I appreciate all that you have done.
Send this information to mccalisterlm@appstate.edu Name: Group: Suggestion for replacement: (if any):
In times of change, learners inherit the Earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists. Eric Hoffer

Looks like we'll be meeting this month as scheduled in spite of the lack of stipends. I'd like for us to meet at the Broyhill to view some of the new technology that we've been reviewing for the Partnership, and then we'll be moving somewhere for supper. If you have a laptop, please bring it wo that you can peruse some of the things I'll show you. See you April 28th! Tracie

You may have seen Linda McCalister's earlier posting:
We have been notified that until further notice, all expenditures involving state monies are frozen. All remaining PLC and PDS meetings will have to be done on a volunteer basis. I will let you know if this changes. Thank you.
With this said, how many of you will attend an April meeting if you do not receive a stipend? Our plan for that session was to present some of the possible new technology that will be used to facilitate communications for the PLC in the near future, to discuss the upcoming year and possible opportunities, and to end the year with supper some where. Any thoughts? Tracie Salinas

Deepening the Dialogue
This is who we have so far. We have some ASU faculty who have volunteered who don't have classes on Friday. I am waiting to hear about other volunteers who have classes that might volunteer. Will let you know after that.

It looks like Linda turned the password off.
I cannot add to the QTopics (or at least I don't know how), Linda does this. I will put her on my list.
Our next meeting is next Tuesday, the 24th at the Broyhill at 4:45. Is Jean interested in going? It appears we have an opening.
