I can't tell which high school teachers will be attending from your conversation below.

I have Dr. Katrina Palmer as the ASU faculty. Please give me the other names. Thanks

Also, make sure you click on the blue link and go to the Quicktopic site before you answer a question. Otherwise you will not see the discussion in context.

Hello Everyone!

Amy Maxey, from West Forsyth High School, has agreed to share some information and take questions about Integrated Mathematics at our meeting on Tuesday, March 24. Amy teaches Integrated Math at West Forsyth. If you have other teachers at your school or in your
district who would like to join the discussion, please invite them to attend.

The only mathematics professor that I can find who won't be giving a test or doing a computer lab project that Friday morning is Dr. Katrina Palmer, who will be doing a review in Calculus 1. That looks to be the only option for our visitors on that day.

If this other person would like to go, let them. I still haven't heard back from Shelia, so I assume she decided not to go----

Claudette,

I am not able to access quick topic because I do not have a password. Can you provide this please?
Also, Jean Reid spoke to me about a two-day workshop she thinks may be April 23 and 24 that they would like for me to attend. Will you send me further information on this, please?
Finally, Jean Reid is not receiving the email notifications from the Mathematics Professional Learning Community and would like to be added to the list. Her email address is jreid@alexander.k12.nc.us
Thank you,
Diane Phillips

Amy,

Which one would like to go? I need to give the name to Linda ASAP. For tonight, I will just tell her that it would be someone from Wilkes.

There are two teachers from Wilkes that are possibly interested in the Deepening...Discussion. Darin Bauguess at North High
(bauguessd@wilkes.k12.nc.us) & Sheila Holloway from East High

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to see who is coming for the Deepening the Discussion...

I haven't heard from anyone, and Linda is requesting I give names by Monday, March 16th.

I will go. So, we need one more. Now, if two of you were interested I am not adamant about going myself since I participated in a similar experience last fall.

I hope to see everyone at the meeting on March 24th at the Broyhill.

Please call the person below if you need a representative from Caldwell County for math, science, English, or SS if you do not have two representatives from your group for the Deepening the Dialogue gathering. She says that she has many teachers interested in participating.

Please let me know by Monday who your participants for the Deepening the Dialogue meeting are. Hopefully, teachers have recruited teachers and ASU faculty have recruited ASU faculty. If you have any difficulty with this let me know by Monday 16th. Thanks
