Claire congrats on the RA position! Im hoping to get a job at UNCG as a facilitator at their ropes course or climbing wall...or even just be a lifeguard to get my foot in the door with the rec center.

my college graduation is gonna be in this new highschools gym haha...cause we aint got no place to do it...u know what i think they even have school on that day haha. fun stuff

ahhh I looked into going to WCU..but i talked myself out of it...just cause UNCG's program is close to the same without a ton of the outdoor leadership stuff..which i can pick up through onsite training instead of learning how to kayak during school and stuff..and UNCG is gonna be the cheapest route cause im commuting by the Part bus to get there and livin at home for free.

Mel that course load sounds rough...do u got AP Cal? that was my most challengeing course in highschool..id work on that stuff late at night..but the work paid off..cause i dont have to take math anymore in school it doesnt look like.

as far as american idol goes...i really hope danny wins!...ive checked out the church that he's a worship leader at and it seems like a sound church..i think there was something about speaking in tounges on there...like that everyone filled with the spirit should speak in tounges...its a penicostal thing..but hey we can disagree on some stuff and still be Christians..just not the issue of Christ...so im still pullin for him!

ive got to type some journals for class...i really dont like these things..and they are not even hard. haha

Bummer on you not doing Camp Discovery for that week. It'll be weird because if I do it then that'll be the first time doing it without you or Jami!! The Methodist will take over. Is it just me or do we get back really close to 4th of July from that!!

Well i'm excited for our churches community day. I'll be back and my madre signed me up. It sounds interesting.I'll have to come visit yalls yard sale and have me a little fashion show!! hahaha

I reckon it's my turn to share all that's going on in my life. Currently, I'm watching American Idol, Stevie Wonder is singing. I do not like him. Ok. I'm babysitting for my cousins that live two houses away from my house while they go to some meeting in Charlotte about their home business. They have two boys, yay. the older one is 2 years and the other is 6 months. The older one is cute and all, but the younger one looks like Kenan did, only with about five more pounds. Seriously, this kid is fat. and he drools so much. I have to change shirts because he drools through not only my hoodie, but my t-shirt and undershirt as well. tonight he's already gone through two shirts and I still have 4 hours left.

Anyways, most of my life is going well. I've gotten two scholarships so far, the Michael Yang Scholarship from the salisbury Civitans and then the Teaching Fellows to WCU. I told them I had to have Western simply because I know only the most awesome of awesome go there and I missed my Awesome Claire. And I have officially sent off my deposit for Western. Hopefully, there'll still be rooms left in the new Honors Dorm for me. Hopefully.

I've started grading papers for Mr. Suther. It makes me laugh. I mean, I really do look like a teacher sitting behind his desk.
Mr. Suther = the most awesome history teacher in the world.

I only have two AP classes this semester. yay. better than last year, when I had three. ugh, that killed me. and I'm totally taking my first band class since sophomore year. YAY! and it's even honors band, meaning I get a 5.0 class, for doing nothing really.

Latin Quiz Bowl is this Saturday. Well, just the prelims, the finals are at the State Convention on May first. I have so much to do before then. The State Convention, not the quiz bowl. As we compete in different catagories and take projects to be judged,I have to make atleast 7 projects. Here, let metell you all about it....

I'm totally just kidding as I still have so much homework to do for AP English. so, I must leave you with thisoh so breif message, I'm sorry. I know you wanted more, but just now, I can't.

P.S. I can't do Camp Discovery this year as I will be in Disney World, big surprise.
I'm graduating on a Friday at 8 in the morning. Oh my goodness, I'm angry, as we were promised the football stadium for graduation and now wince the football team won state champions they of course have to use all that money they got. Ugh. They're now tearing out the old stadium and replacing the stands and the track. double ugh. While the Maching band still uses the parking lot to practice. triple ugh. yes I love being a senior. =]

You wanna know something funny... I was seriously going to write on here the other day but was boggled down with home work.

Okay well my last post was a pity party haha. I enjoy my room now. It's pretty neat. I find out tomorrow if I get an RA job for next year. I really want to work with first year students because they need the most guidance and I really wanna help them get oriented with campus. I also changed my major!! I don't know if you ever knew but I was Elementary Education and I just wasn't feeling called to it right away so I changed to Communication: Public Relations and a minor in leadership!! I think I wanna have fun with this for a few years and see where it and God takes me then come back for a masters in education or social work.

Congrats on your new summer job :]!! I know this is something you have probably prayed about and I believe God is doing great things with you. And congrats on being a spartan!! I have a lot of friends there and I know a lot of people transferring there. You will do great things there my friend.

I went to two churches up here last semester to try out and I really liked Webster Baptist. It is this tiny church but the congregation is huge but I haven't been back as much. And my friend Shanna has taken me to BSU a couple times and that has been fun. I'm just enjoying all these different groups.

And Melani!! I'm proud of you :] She got teaching fellows at WCU and that better be where you are going so I can see you more :] But if not let me know where you are going so I can get you a graduation present!!

And Snipes leave some address and i'm going to mail you something sometime since you are graduating as well!! haha

I've already gotten Magen something from ECU. Lets just say I love ebay haha and thrift stores!!

But enough of my endless ranting i'm excited that this place is somewhat used again.

Claire! Melani! Im Here! its been 6 months of silence! I thought about this MB the other day and was like i gotta check it out haha.


So Claire I hope your situation about rooms is better now...remember God cares more about who you are then what you do...i mean if who you are is all for God then what you do kinda comes along with the package persay.

I really hope youve found a church to get involved in there at college...i know since i went to community college i had it easy..but i have been the youth ministry intern at my church now for a year and a half...and God has worked in my life in soooooo many ways...taught me soo much..ive drawn closer to Him....basically what im saying is this...Staying in Church and being involved has been a huge tool that God has used to develop me as His child...its trully breath taking.

So big news..i mean its old news to me but big news and new to yall!...Im going to be the Assistant director at Camp Piankatank this summer!!! woot woo Im stoked! last summer as ropes course director was steller..and i feel that God has just been preparing me for the ministry of this summer already...as well as preparing me for a career in Camp ministry. So im going to UNCG next fall and majoring in Recreation and Parks Management: Leisure Services.

Mel..how is being a senior?!?!? those are great years!

Hey fellow masters!!

So tonight I have decided that I need to pull my life back together. No i'm not spiraling out of control but I could. Well first I have a lot of classes and i'm not going it my full potential. Also I haven't found a church to go to also because I'm stuck on my one at home! it's so hard to go somewhere else when you just wanna be at the one at home. Especially since we got a new preacher and I have only heard him bout 3 times and each time was better then the last. Also i'm really not happy in my new dorm. Yes it's the nicest one on campus in some peoples minds but I'd rather trade my AC and bathroom for the community bathroom and no AC at my last dorm. That dorm was a community and it was just soooo full of fun and I miss it to pieces. Well miss the people. But I'm thinking of applying for an RA job there. Well I wanted to next semester for next year but my friend keeps telling me to do it now because they are making some adjustments there and I just feel like God wants me out of this dorm because i'm not happy here it's tooooo quiet and yall both know me yall should know I like noise. I'm pretty sure he wants me out. It's hard to tell if it's myself or maybe him. I'm praying for guidance in listening for what he wants me to do. I'm all for jumping ships ever since I saw spiders!! YIKES I know. But I'm pretty sure I need to make all these adjustments so just pray that I make what he WANTS me to do and not what I want to do!

Plus I got keys to three different rooms in the UC (university center/student union if you wanna call it that) because of me being exec. assistant for SGA. :) So I get paid and keys.

Ok, so, plans didn't really work out. On friday, I had to meet with the pastor search committee for breakfast. For lunch I had to help out with the Civitan Spagetti dinner at the civic center (But we though it was at the country club, so, we did oodles of driving) Oh yeah, and I left my phone charger in Dad's truck, so I had to drive out to spencer to get it. and then I couldn't go home because that would just waste gas, so I got to the church two hours early. I put the three pies I had made the night before in the fridge and baked a pan of my speciel triple chocolate w/ peppermint brownies. and then I was there until like 8:20, and they were still talking when I left. It was busy day... pretty bummed out I couldn't get to western, though. Kelli just decided to ride with Mr. Trivette and save gas. =] well, I have to study for an APES test, so, I hope you're not too swamped with your busy-ness!

Haha soo Melani I just got this but I think you should come this weekend it's RELAY FOR LIFE!
And congrats on Junior Marshal i'm super excited for you. Someone from the youth group needed to be the smart one and you obviously stepped up and filled those shoes. I'm happy for you :) :)

I'm soooooooo busy this month. Like my parents want to come up for my birthday but it's like i'm doing something. Which I mean I still want guest to come up it's just I can't dedicate all my weekend to them.

Yes I did hear the band competition thingy I heard drumline all the way from Ramsey to my dorm but it made me think we were in football season and it was fall and I got excited but yeah.

P.S. I like guest and I have a gazillion meal blocks and a nice comfy floor :):)
