Camden! I like that name. Wasn't that the families last name on 7th Heaven?
So anyway I just got back from camping. My and two other girls decided it was too cold to stay 4 more hours so we left and went back. haha It was a 30 minute or less hike in the dark but i'm happy to report I am safe/showered/and bout to go to bed! It was fun being at the bonfire (:

Also Snipes I hope UNCG is being lovely to you! I loveeeeeee being an RA. I'm an RA to freshman so it's good to be a positive (at least I hope) influence to all. It's busy work but I like to have something to do. As for drug use, I really don't see a lot of it. It's a pity that's what she got into it.
Melani and me built a ramp the other day. I need to facebook the picture from my phone. Hmm what else is going on? Besides lacking sleep I have planned the Halls Christmas party. I'm doing one as a program. The theme is TACKY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS!

Too bad church yard sales aren't year round.
I'll be home in a couple of weeks for Thanksgiving! Haven't been home since August 10th. Umm I went to a North Carolina Federation of College Republican meeting at Chapel Hill last week.
Franklin Street at halloween was fun. Hmm. What else? New Moon comes out the 20th (:
Okay enough rambling i'm giving in to my sleep deprivation!

Wow... It really has been a really long time since I posted on here. I feel a bit sheepish. oh well. I'm really enjoying college. Lots o' freedom. Not that I use it to do that much with. I do Bible sudies. It's fun. beyond that, what with Marching Band and all, I don't really have that much time to really anything else. Tomorrow is our last performance. I'm excited. And Well, I really can't think of anything more to say to describe the awesomeness that has been my life since I last posted on here. Maybe I'll have more later. Who knows. Oh yeah, pray for my brother-in-law, Jeff, as he left for somewhere overseas this week. I mean, he should be safe, ut, still. Robin's going to be lonely. At least I'll see her over thanksgiving. Yay. Ummm, yeah, that's it. =] OH YEAH!!! Emily and Denny (sister and Husband) just sold their house. Yay! They may be buying land beside where my parents live. Oh happy day! and Stephen and Barbara have pretty much decided on naming their son Camden Earl. Not bad, I say. I was really leaning for Jackson, but what ever. We'll save that name for later. =] Yeah, that's all. =] Love you guys! |

Mel, Claire- hello I hope both of you are fantastic!...Mel how is college???!...I hope youre enjoying it and not keeping too busy so that you have time to meet new people and hopefully get involved in a small group of other youth lady believers that can be an amazing support group for you..as you follow Christ during these years!
claire hows RA'in going? i hope fantastic...i talked to this girl at my school the other day that went to western and all she talked about was doing drugs...hopefully yall dont have that problem where you live!

School is going good. I am really enjoying being an RA! It's somewhat tiring but it's well worth it :] I love my hall even though they are noisy bunch. Classes are good. Early classes so i'm lacking some shut eye. How about yall?

It was Peter! haha Sorry I don't know where my mind was. Ask Melani about youth tonight I was all over the place. Except I did win that one game that is similar to big booty or what not.
Have a great summer at camp I know you'll do marvelous things for the Lord and he def. will have something mind blowing amazing for ya in Heaven. Maybe rope courses in heaven. that would be some fun stuff. haha Okay well enough of my awkwardness I'm going to go back to cleaning my room and organizing it so I can paint it and make it a-mazinggggggg. And I need to find God in my room like Justin saidddd. He might be on my bookshelf a little dusty who knows!

so im leaveing for camp on sunday.....and im getting really excited!
i love Hillsong United...well their love for the Lord is what excites me..and thier music moves my heart to worship our Creator!
Mel. Congrats on graduating! its soon..and ull look back on these last days in years to come...so make them memorable...and give God the credit for your accomplishments! thats where it counts.
ive been enjoying the summer!..i went kayaking last weekend and to the beach.
Getting out of the boat! thats good stuff!...was it paul who got out of the boat or Peter? keeping our eyes on Jesus and focusing on glorifying the Lord is so important...thats our purpose!

So our new youth guy is pretty rad. Even though i'm past the youth age he incorporates college life well or at least lets us mooch off youth group. Melani have you figured out what you are doing to get out of the "boat" and has something big this week impacted you and the big G O D?

im glad american idol kicked Megan off...she had such an annoying voice, and really the only reason she was there is because of her cool personality and beauty...and thats all great and all but its a singing comp...to quote simon haha.
I doubt Anoop will be around more than 2 more weeks.

and on the American Idol note, I love Danny!! Him and the blind guy, but not as much as at first. I just liked him becuase he loves Billy Joel, whom I love as well (I totally got his entire discography from my tech savvy friend)

UNCG is a great school!
I'll be an RA in the freshman dorm, WHICH by the way I really wanted :] Most people think i'm crazy for wanting it.
Melani - Dino Dan is an RA in balsam so maybe you'll live there and have him :]
Yeah I know a few people in the outdoor leadership program here and it's intense! We just got a huge rock wall as well. With our new fitness center and our new dining facility is going to be off the chain.
Yeah college is expensive! WCU is the cheapest one in the NC system of public universities but commuting with def. help you there. I love our book rental program haha. But yeah!
I'm bout to go to this carnival for relay for life and then help put together conference stuff for the leadership conference were putting on tomorrow so everyone have a great weekend <3
