and on the American Idol note, I love Danny!! Him and the blind guy, but not as much as at first. I just liked him becuase he loves Billy Joel, whom I love as well (I totally got his entire discography from my tech savvy friend)

I honestly haven't been keeping up with american idol so I'll have to watch it next week and give you my verdict. I know a lot of people are obsessed with Anoop. Especially since he is from Chapel Thriller! haha

im glad american idol kicked Megan off...she had such an annoying voice, and really the only reason she was there is because of her cool personality and beauty...and thats all great and all but its a singing comp...to quote simon haha.
I doubt Anoop will be around more than 2 more weeks.

So our new youth guy is pretty rad. Even though i'm past the youth age he incorporates college life well or at least lets us mooch off youth group. Melani have you figured out what you are doing to get out of the "boat" and has something big this week impacted you and the big G O D?

ive been enjoying the summer!..i went kayaking last weekend and to the beach.

Getting out of the boat! thats good stuff!...was it paul who got out of the boat or Peter? keeping our eyes on Jesus and focusing on glorifying the Lord is so important...thats our purpose!

Have a great summer at camp I know you'll do marvelous things for the Lord and he def. will have something mind blowing amazing for ya in Heaven. Maybe rope courses in heaven. that would be some fun stuff. haha Okay well enough of my awkwardness I'm going to go back to cleaning my room and organizing it so I can paint it and make it a-mazinggggggg. And I need to find God in my room like Justin saidddd. He might be on my bookshelf a little dusty who knows!

School is going good. I am really enjoying being an RA! It's somewhat tiring but it's well worth it :] I love my hall even though they are noisy bunch. Classes are good. Early classes so i'm lacking some shut eye. How about yall?

Mel, Claire- hello I hope both of you are fantastic!...Mel how is college???!...I hope youre enjoying it and not keeping too busy so that you have time to meet new people and hopefully get involved in a small group of other youth lady believers that can be an amazing support group for you..as you follow Christ during these years!

Wow... It really has been a really long time since I posted on here. I feel a bit sheepish. oh well. I'm really enjoying college. Lots o' freedom. Not that I use it to do that much with. I do Bible sudies. It's fun. beyond that, what with Marching Band and all, I don't really have that much time to really anything else. Tomorrow is our last performance. I'm excited. Ummm, yeah, that's it. =] OH YEAH!!! Emily and Denny (sister and Husband) just sold their house. Yay! They may be buying land beside where my parents live. Oh happy day! and Stephen and Barbara have pretty much decided on naming their son Camden Earl. Not bad, I say. I was really leaning for Jackson, but what ever. We'll save that name for later. =] Yeah, that's all. =] Love you guys!

So anyway I just got back from camping. My and two other girls decided it was too cold to stay 4 more hours so we left and went back. haha It was a 30 minute or less hike in the dark but i'm happy to report I am safe/showered/and bout to go to bed! It was fun being at the bonfire (:

Also Snipes I hope UNCG is being lovely to you! I loveeeeeee being an RA. I'm an RA to freshman so it's good to be a positive (at least I hope) influence to all. It's busy work but I like to have something to do. As for drug use, I really don't see a lot of it. It's a pity that's what she got into it.

Melani and me built a ramp the other day. I need to facebook the picture from my phone. Hmm what else is going on? Besides lacking sleep I have planned the Halls Christmas party. I'm doing one as a program. The theme is TACKY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS!

I'll be home in a couple of weeks for Thanksgiving! Haven't been home since August 10th. Umm I went to a North Carolina Federation of College Republican meeting at Chapel Hill last week.
