Cricket is a game which requires you to be out of doors. What better place to spend a day, testing a computer that is designed to work out of doors?

So, at great personal sacrifice, both the Hunky Mouse and the Editor will be attending the home of cricket - Lords Cricket Ground - in North London. The purpose of the visit is to test the Stylistic Tablet PC which has a transflective display - that is, it works well out of doors.

I hope you realise what an effort this is, for both of us?

Waterproof? Well, fortunately, we didn't have to find out. It didn't rain that hard, anyway, but we were under cover!

:-)

All in all, a complete disaster. Never mind the cricket; trying to set up the Stylistic to work with the SPV was an unmitigated farce.

I didn't get online once.

I've never managed to get it to talk over IR with my P800; it once nearly did a WiFi handshake with another tablet but we think that may have been an error. Screen always seems better outdoors though.
