Because of UN withdrawal i have rooms to let in a house with garden in central shar-e-now. rent should be between 800 - 1000$ (according to new security settings) covering cleaner, chowkiddar, internet, electricity, etc.
my other option is still to abandon the house and move out myself - so i am interested in rooms also. Anyone in the same boat and has rooms to let? please reply here, i'll be in touch.

Hi Gang,
I have two large fridge/freezers with hardly any hours on them, I will even throw in a three month guarantee, $200 each. A small wine fridge that needs a good clean, $100 [German I think]. A elliptical trainer that cost me $1,000 will sell for say $200. A little faded from the sun that's about all.

My husband and I are a quiet, professional couple (journalists) living in a house in Qalai Musa (right next to Qalai Fatullah).
We're looking for roommates -- either long-term or short-term -- from December 1st onwards, to share a gorgeous, fully-furnished house.
There are two bedrooms available, each with its own bathroom. We also have a spacious, sunny living + dining room, a kitchen, terrace and large garden. One of the bedrooms is large enough for a couple to share.
The whole house is furnished, we have internet and a generator and bukharis for the winter. We get city power (which rarely goes, except for maybe an hour or two during the day), hot water and have a washing machine as well.
Each month costs about $1300 during winter, and less (about $1100) during the spring/ summer. This includes electricity, internet, rent, salaries for the staff and diesel for the bukharis and the generator.
You have to see this place to believe it. Its quite possibly the nicest house in Kabul and was the former home for the French Embassy staff.
Please email me (Anita) at: thungachi@gmail.com to get in touch to see the place and meet us in person.
Thanks! Anita

Since three of our members are leaving we have rooms available and are looking for housemates for our atmospheric and cosy house.
the house is located in shar-e-naw, there is a good living room with a chill out area, two bathrooms and a kitchen where you can cook. We have internet, a garden with a table tennis and a hammock and a rabbit family taking care of the lawn.
We have a cleaner, a chowkiddar and good security. Rent is US$ 400 per month plus salaries and some 300$ for the house budget per month covering food, some household goods and this and that. The total is usually around US$ 900.

---------------------------------TO-LET------------------------------------ ---------------------OPEN-DAYS ON THE 16/17 NOVEMBER-----------------------
Thank you one and all for your overwhelming interest in the six bedroom house in W.A.K. Due to the sheer scale of your enquiries, i have now decided to organise a couple of open days, which i hope will enable all of you who are interested in the property to come and view it for yourselves. A massive cheers also to the kind folks, who put their monies where their proverbials are, by coming up with serious offers. However, since i'm flying in myself on the 14th of November, I think it's only fair to give everyone the opportunity to atually view the house. Henceforth, any potential viewers/bidders should contact me prior to the open days and book their slots. If you can't make the open days for some reason then, i could organise a more suitable time for you to view it beforhand or after the 'open-days'. The house is available from the 1st of December 2009.
