Intel muscles into phone software development

 Intel processors are, traditionally, hot. That's because they use electricity; and to make them run faster, Intel traditionally just increased the electrical power they got. Well, that won't work in the phone business. So Intel has <a href="http://www.newswireless.net/articles/030804-intel.html">moved into the software business, producing optimisation tools so that people can make their XScale processors run fast - and cool.
