At the present time Republicans for Dean is a small site that seems mainly devoted to the interests of Yankee Republicans, Log Cabin Republicans and others who have been out of the party's mainstream for quite some tme.
What's needed is a RFD site that is staffed by real, loyal Republicans, like Mr. Cudahy, people who have enormous credibility even among the Dittoheads, even within their base vote.
Just a thought.

As a Dean Democrat, it is a bit refreshing to see this cry of protest coming from a staunch Republican. Yes it is a bit naive to expect civility to rule the current political discourse. Let's remember what got us here. Gingrich revolution, Clinton impeachment and stolen election. Getting back to some bipartisan civility will take a lot of doing and you can be sure it is not on Karl's to do list. He will do all he can to keep the pot boiling right up to election day when we can expect a code Orange. Well meaning Republicans (many of whom I consider my friends and family) have a lot to question themselves about for what brought us to the present mess. Soul searching is a good thing but action is what will count in the end.

As always, your words are compelling and your ideas are sound. I have forwarded this to others who will find it compelling.
Thanks.
