Also re. funkiness - "A feed is funky if it uses extensions to provide information that can be expressed by core elements." say Dave. This is only an issue because RSS 2.0 doesn't define any system for extension handling. Namespaces alone don't prevent semantic clashes.
Actually, I'll post that to Rogers' list (then dodge the flames...)
