I love your photo from 06/10/09, the red mite on the rusty railroad. It looks like an alien creature crossing a Martian landscape. Interesting color combination.

Congratulations on your screening!! It's been a long time coming -- and I'm sure it will be a surreal experience to sit in a theater and watch it from afar! Have fun

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to seeing the completed birdhouse. Are you able to use the scraps for making more rubberstamps?

There is a big difference between cow parsnip and poison hemlock. Cow parsnips have broad leaves, whereas poison hemlock has delicate, fern-like leaves. And of course, there is the issue of toxicity. Poison hemlock, as the name indicates is highly toxic.

re Cow Parsnip. What is the difference between cow parsnip and poisonous hemlock? Just the name or is it one and the same? Did this plant have brownish markings on the stems?

I've never used resist on rubber either... if it needs to be cleaned with solvent, the rubber should be able to take it, but you might want to hit it afterwords with stamp conditioner.

I've read that the walnuts are 80% shell and 20% nut, lots of work to get the nut out. Some people do it though, so they must be good.

The walnut tree..do you ever pick up the nuts...hard to shell, but worth it. Beautiful photo.
