Lynn,

I have been sharing this site with my graphic design students at a small
community college in Ann Arbor for many years. This is both insightful and humorous. Thanks. I do miss the Gregorian chants that no longer play.

Most interesting site!
Subjects dear to my heart after many years in the industry (dating back to hot metal).
All good stuff, but please, please leave the ampersands out of your text!
Otherwise, we may as well typeset everything as an SMS.
OK in a headline, but nothing is wrong with the good old conjunction "and".

Oh, and without sounding too picky...
resume needs an acute on both the "E"s.

Apart from that – 9/10!

Well, I can tell this is supposed to be funny but it doesn't make me laugh. And what does a pianist losing their fingers have to do with graphics?

Ah, well.

Two words: Coffee Mugs. I'd be first on the list to buy a bunch of St. Pantone.

Luckily, I stumbled upon this site while researching obscure patron saints for a novel. As a Catholic and former Liturgy Lady, I hooted with delight at these most worthy saints. As an artist, I am blown away by your work and resume. You are an amazing talent, m'dear. Keep it up--and more saintworks, please!

I had visited your site a few years ago, I can't remember how I landed here for the first time, but today I was surfing the internet and remembered that I refered at this site many times while having amusing talks with others designers I know but no one knew about this Saints or this site. I live in Mexico City, and as you should know, most of the people are Catholics, but none of us could feel offensive this creative work you've developed, despite of that, I feel is a recognition of the religious icons that we believe in, so... now I can say that I am devoted to St. Anxieté, none other Saint could understand better my own Anxieté, in fact, I've remember her when i've found myself chasing the King of Fedex!! many times, when the clock is marking 5:55 p.m.!!

Green, I am a close friend of some of your friends in Milwaukee. Remember Cathy Watson and Patti Shotola? They are both friends of mine. I have seen your very large 60's painting that Patti Shotola has. Cathy just talked to Mike (from the Shaggs) he lives in the City. Mike is comming to Milwaukee in the next month and the group is getting together for lunch. Patti just got married for the 1st time. Patti is still sewing shirts for men mostly. She was in the womans clothing business for a few years. Making those outragious designs. I had lunc with Cathy and she gave me your post card that is how I arrived here. Hope this note gets to you. Love your work it is so colorful. I am an artist as well , painting.

Lynn, I clicked on your profile today to add you as one of the users that I link to on my profile page, and noticed that you had a website up. I’m glad I clicked on it too, because I would’ve missed your extremely charming site. One of the first things that I was searching for, was a picture (I usually like to get a visual cue of a person so that I can place him or her with his or her name [might be in relation to my being bipolar, but anyway]), I’m glad that you posted it up. And I loved all the cartoon images in your Highlight series, and that DVD cover of Cast Away, not to mention the Italian Postcard—that seemed like it would’ve taken a long time?

You seem to be an extremely talented Art Director! (So talented in fact that you enticed me to actually register and post, something which I _never_ do for some odd reason, again something to do with my bipolar disorder, but anyhoo. You rock, and that’s what counts!

As head of production for an advertising agency in Boston for 9 years - and co-owner of a graphics production studio in Cambridge for the 9 years before that - I LOVE THIS! :-) It's funny, clever, and nicely presented.
I'm now in Vermont working with book production so as the years and technology have evolved so have I ... and you're still uniquely hysterical.
So nice to find/share with other crazies!

The text typesetting is kind of pedestrian (excessive letter-spacing,
obliques instead of italics, double-hyphens instead of em-dashes),
but it's still delightful.

How funny was that! As a Catholic, I was doing a search on patron saints to find a medal for my husband before he leaves for Iraq for 6 months... and as a graphic designer, I of course had to look at your site - I was pleasantly surprised and am impressed by the genius of the idea! Thanks for a laugh, I'll look forward to seeing updates and additions in the future!

:) Colleen

A day looking for life and times of saints to get some artwork and paintbrushes moving...what a blessed and bloody relief to stumble upon this site! I have sipped at the holy lake of inspiration and will journey to the shed now to commune with my canvas.
I wish you were my friend - I am quite prepared to get rid of at least 5 for your company. They're only Australians and at todays exchange rate I can only get one US or a Brit for 5 of them.
