Hi - Im sticking up for it because Ive used the application and recommended it to several (*definitely* non geeky!) people who found it to be a very practical and productive piece of software - e.g. one person whose job requires presenting a lot was looking into buying a wireless solution until i showed him this - he had the hardware already so for around $10 now has a lest costly more productive presentation tool
good of you to give the link - but Id still have to take issue with the way you presented the application - even if you used the word "apparent" (followed by three quite negative terms) i feel it was treated unfairly... i think you were being 'tongue-in-cheek' with some comments? - but to someone reading who doesn't know what it can actually offer it could quite easily put them off even checking it out
this might be of interest in relation to the wireless tag system; there is a company called BlueTags who have brought such a Bluetooth offering to market:
http://www.bluetags.com/i enjoy your site and catch up regularly - keep up the good work - it's refreshing to get your insight and thoughts on the wireless world
all the best,
